Growing up dreaming of Cinderella style ball gowns it’s a tough choice to pick a lengha or dress for your reception. So in true Maharani fashion, Tanika choses both!  This first class party took the blue and purple color palette to a new level.  Imagine this….a modern white backdrop, glamorous lighting, towers of purple and blue cupcakes, and of course the glittering bride and groom! I know, I know, I am getting hyper just thinking about it!  Lucky for us Meme Thepmontri of Fotolicious was there to capture all the beauty!

From Maharani, Tanika :
I wanted a cupcake cake for the wedding because I feel there are many sweets at an Indian wedding anyway and till the cake comes around everyone is going to be dancing. A cupcake cake was definitely something we both wanted because there's an ease of just grabbing the cupcake and running to the floor! haha We had chocolate and vanilla flavores cupcakes so that they appeal to a larger audience. Funnily, us the couple, didn't even have any cupcakes! All we got was a bite of our cake when we cut it. Wow, it was good and I'm still upset we didn't get to even have any!
Our wedding favors were little espresso sets, that two plates and two espresso cups in each box. We had individually wrapped each box with a personalized ribbon that we ordered online. The ribbon had both my our names along with the date of the wedding.
We had a photobooth for our guests so that they could enjoy the moments with us especially since there were different types of props available too. We had props that would interest both of us, for Kabir we had car related items and for myself we had glamorous type props. It was definitely fun and we got to keep fun memories of our guests! It was not really a professional booth but we had a nice background set up with a table with props. Very economical to do yourself as well!
Muah! Have a lovely Wednesday Maharanis!  See you tomorrow!
