This DC Engagement session by Georgetown Pics is modern, light hearted, and you will never believe that it was shot when the temperatures were below 40 degrees! This shoot shows off the unique style of the bride and groom, and I love the idea of wearing a little black dress for your engagement session. It’s a piece that often gets overlooked, but the results are simple and sophisticated. We can’t wait until these two say “I do!”
From the Bride to Be :
Our goal for the photoshoot was to really show our personalities. Our first photoshoot was at Gaylord National Harbor and we wanted this to be our "Bollywood" shoot as both of us love Bollywood and this is where Chintak proposed to me. Our second photoshoot was in Old Town Alexandria, VA and we wanted this to reflect our modern side so we got dressed up in cocktail attire and went near the boats/water. We also took some shots at hotels in the Gaylord National Harbor area which had very modern decor to show our western side. Our third shot was near the monuments to show our love for DC and how fortunate we are to live in the nation's capital. For this shoot, we wore semi casual western attire. We shot these in the beginning of January and despite the weather being in 30-40 degrees we had the best time!
