As of right now, Christmas feels like it has come early. Not only am I guest blogging on the awesome wedding site, Delightfully Engaged, but we are showcasing the work of one of my all time favorite photographers.  It is no secret that I am thoroughly obsessed with the work of Dina Douglass.  Not only is Dina an amazing photographer, she is one of the kindest souls I have been lucky enough to know.  She has unique point of view, and we are all lucky that she brings her creativity and rock n’ roll edge to Indian weddings.  I am just so excited I can hardly contain myself!

If you heard the buzz this morning, you know that I am guest blogging over at Delightfully Engaged today, and you saw some teaser pics from Anika and Shardul's mind-blowing ceremony.  Designed especially for the couple, this dreamy mandap by Ethnic Essence has my head in the clouds. The soft fabric top has an airy, heavenly quality that is utterly romantic.  And, this bright color palette is composed of purple, rose, orange, saffron, and yellow is unmistakably Indian and completely original at the same time.  It's a ten!

I am thrilled to say that we have tons more from this spectacular Indian wedding coming right up.  So, eat your lunch at your desk today, because you won't wanna miss a thing!  Back in a flash!

Before we get to this gorgeous reception, one of Dina's images really caught my eye.  It is just one of the many intricate and beautiful decor elements that Ethnic Essence used to create this Bollywood style reception. I would absolutely love, love, love to see this made into a wedding cake.  Or, better yet, see it being constructed on Ace of Cakes!

Eye candy galore on the way...good thing you don't have to watch your waist line to enjoy all these treats!

I can look at (read : drool over) Indian weddings like this one all day long.  I never seem to get tired of dreamy, creative masterpieces like this one designed by Ethnic Essence and photographed by Andrena Photography.  From the colors, to the florals, to the linens, the vibrant colors mesh together seamlessly. And, if that wasn’t enough, Smita managed to create a signature look that fit the couple’s personality perfectly.
