We all have the one maybe two girlfriends who are borderline OBSESSED with Indian culture.  They want to put Mehndi on up to their elbows, and ask if they can wear a bore and a naat to your wedding.  I have a bit of this same mania inside of me when it comes to South Indian weddings.  I want to wear my hair in the long braid and adorned with flowers, just like Palluvi did on her wedding day.  GORGEOUS!

From  bride:

Since the rest of our events were fairly non-traditional, we wanted our ceremony to be more-so, balancing ornate and rich decor and not overshadowing the outdoor surroundings. We chose burgundy and gold shades as our colors and kept the mandap simple, given the landscape at the St. Regis was so picturesque in itself. Our guests were treated to lychee sorbet to keep them cool during the ceremony and added an accent color through our peach parasols.

Finale on the way….you won’t wanna miss it!
