Related Posts with ThumbnailsWhenever I open a submission from Megan Stark Photography and Exquisite Events I know I am in for a real treat.  Today’s multi cultural, fusion wedding will make you fall in love so fast, you might even forget that you are at work. Now, isn't that too bad?! So, off we go!  The lovely Caroline is from Sweden and she whole heartedly embraced Indian culture and became a traditional Indian bride for her wedding day.  Heavy red lengha, hands full or mehndi, wrists stacked with chooda, and all topped off with gobs of gold jewelry.  She looks like a perfect little doll if I do say so myself.

I am so excited to share these next few images with all of you. I think that Caroline's bridesmaids are just adorable! It is so sweet to see Caroline’s entire family embrace Indian culture with open arms.  Even her mom was decked out in a lengha!

Truthfully, when I started Maharani Weddings, I didn’t spend much time on fusion Indian weddings.  That being said, they have quickly become some of my favorites to feature, largely because there is always something fresh to see. No two weddings are ever alike, especially an Indian fusion wedding!

On the topic of Indian fusion, I wanted to give a huge congratulations to our Olympic silver medalists in ice dancing, Meryl Davis and Charlie White.  These two University of Michigan students won our hearts with their Bollywood blockbuster performance two nights ago.  Click here for the full breakdown of their unique story, and if you missed their Indian-themed dance number you must watch it here.  Meryl definitely looks like a Maharani!

Back tomorrow with more Caroline and Ritu's glamorous affair!
