We are featuring a charming Indian wedding today that took place at the Huntington Beach Hyatt last June, and I just love this fresh summer palette they used. The style of this wedding is modern meets trendy infused with lots and lots of color. By layering the colors and using different shades of the same tone, they were able to achieve a cohesive, one of a kind look. I mean, even the handsome couple’s clothes compliment each other without being overly matchy, matchy.
What I strive to bring our readers is the freshest ideas and vendors that think way, way, WAY outside the box. I was first introduced to this lovely couple through Kevin Shahinian from Pacific Pictures when he made a mini feature Bollywood film of how this adorable couple met. Here is the love story straight from our bride:
We had met though our parents, our parents had been friends for 15 years. I had met Nirav once before during his graduation party from high school where his family invited 300 of the closet friends and family. Since I met him briefly when I was 16 years old, I didn't remember him and either did he. Subsequently, our fathers passed our cell phone numbers along to each other, he called me first and I guess the rest is history.
Well, Anuja and Nirav’s wedding will definitely go down in history as one of our all time favorites. Big, big, big thank you to our Platinum Guide member, Yogi Patel of Global Photography, and Pacific Pictures for sharing this darling wedding with us. And, congrats to the bride and groom!
