One of the hardest tasks for any bride is to make sure that everyone meets everyone else.  As with any part of an Indian wedding production, Indian brides have it a little harder because of the sheer number guests. Our fabulous Platinum Guide member, and planner for this wedding, Amy Patel, of Planning Elegance had a smashing idea that really made Poorva and Rajus guests get to know one another.  The night before the couple took their walk around the fire, they hosted a welcome dinner.  It is a little different than the normal functions, but it brought their friends and family closer together.  The goal of any Indian wedding extravaganza!

From the lovely Amy Patel of Planning Elegance: Poorva and Rajus both lived in other states when planning their wedding, never-the-less the weekly phone meetings and continuous visits with their parents to the venues paid off to make their dream wedding weekend come true.  All the friends and family came from out of town and took over the Irvine Hilton, filling it with music, fun, and partying!  Their Welcome Dinner was a great ice breaker event to bring both sets of families and friends closer together to enjoy the wedding day even more - I recommend a fun event like this to all couples.
