You guys know, I am a sucker for details. And, it is the details that make me fall head over heels for a wedding.  This featured wedding, hit me head on, and I am secretly glad, I got knocked out.

Leena and Suniel’s ceremony had a last minute change in location, thanks to our leading lady, Mother Nature.  So, their mandap went through a last minute transformation to become an arch structure over the cake table, by the design gurus over at Partyland and Working Brides.  Their mandap was exquisite and rich, so I just HAD to share.

From Sachi : When Leena called me, she told me she gravitates toward a modern Indian design style... She wanted a lot of color but not in an Indian way. She wanted something internationally appealing.  She also seemed to be of romantic sensibility so I wanted to keep things fresh romantic and natural. For example, the fabric I used on her mandap was a French silk that was dyed in three different colors... sunset orange, maroon, and deep midnight purple. I wanted bright colors that looked like they belonged in nature.

More coming up in a little while, but if you missed any of their sangeet or ceremony, it is filled with steal worthy ideas!
