I am jumping up and down with excitement today because our style expert Parul is going to be covering my favorite thing in the whole world – bridal lenghas!!! So, today we bringing you the Tarun Tahiliani 2009 bridal couture collection, unveiled on July 29th in India.

From Parul : Tarun is one of India’s most established and sought after designers. His talent has enabled him to transform traditional Indian drapes, textiles and techniques into modern innovative structured forms that translate into an international contemporary look.

Maharani Weddings brings you pictures from his new 65-piece collection that will hit the runways in the upcoming Indian fashion shows. Tarun’s collection is inspired by the “Costumes of Royal India” which were on display at the Metropolition Museum of Art, New York last month. The ensembles are divided into the 6 different “magnificent” wedding occasions: Pooja, Mehendi, Sangeet, Shaadi, Reception and Mughal Garden (I am not exactly sure what a Mughal garden occasion is but I know that every bride will soon want one as part of her wedding festivities.)

Back in a bit with some more pictures from Tarun Tahiliani’s latest collection.
