As a Shakespearean fan, I have to be a bit biased as I gush on the details of this Indian wedding out of the sunny state of California. This nearly week long event began with a mehndi party in Orange County, CA with Divya Henna by Prashanta working her mehndi magic handcrafting the bride’s intricate henna designs. On the sangeet night, the bride and groom enjoyed a wonderful night full to the brim with dance performances with a live Jazz band that fused together Bollywood classics at the VENUE by Three Petals. In a unique turn of events, the bride and groom's family members took to the stage with orchestrated performances alongside classical dance numbers from throughout the years. I had mentioned Shakespeare in the beginning and as you hit play and dive into the details of this gorgeous wedding, take note of the whimsical and gardenesque theme from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Our gal Lulu of Dolled up by Lulu made sure that hair and makeup was on point and might I add, did an excellent job with Anita’s eye makeup. After all the tears shed during the wedding (my own included), our beautiful bride didn’t have so much as an eyelash out of place! With the baraat storming in on a royal horse from Enchanted Carriages and the floral and decor handcrafted especially for this fairy like affairs by Shawna Yamamoto Event Design, Blue Lots Insights did not miss a beat when it came to designing Anita’s dream wedding! After the wedding winded down to an end, guests began preparing for the memorable reception that was to take place at the Grand Pacific Ballroom, with prominent lighting and DJ beats provided by 3D Sounds and the return of Shawna Yamamoto Event Design, guests were floored with the immaculate attention to detail!  The bride handcrafted the seating placements with each table number representing a photo of her and her groom at that age; an idea we love at Maharani Weddings! Guests dined on pakoras and samosas alongside of a full Indian buffet catered by Natraj USA and cakes and treats baked to perfection by Ketih Tucker from Ocho Rios. However, the night did not end there, after the buffet line came to a stop and the dance floor slowly started to dissipate, the bride treated her guests to some good old In N Out food trucks! This bride definitely knew her way to her guest’s hearts! Hit the play button and jam along as we celebrate the gorgeous union of Maharani Anita and Rohit!

Tears. Tears. More Tears. While you wipe them away, wander to Cancun, Mexico where Platinum Guide member Mango Weddings and Events planned and designed a perfect destination wedding! A lot more fun is coming up, so make sure you return tomorrow for more Indian wedding designs!
