After many fabulous moments planned by Artistic Affairs Inc., it was time to close the Indian wedding celebrations with a magnificent reception! The venue was filled with sophisticated candlelit decor by Elegant Affairs Inc., and our Indian bride was ultra sophisticated with a cream and gold reception outfit from Ginni's Boutique NY and a sleek hairstyle by BridalGal! Catering for the event was by Five Chefs, and after eating it was time for exciting performances! Our Raja serenaded his Maharani with their favorite song, and then they headed to the dancefloor, where Shilpa Entertainment was ready with the perfect party songs to keep everyone moving all night! See the rest of Charmi Pena Photography's dazzling reception photos in the full gallery!

Maharani Shweta on her wedding looks:

"Simple. That is all I wanted and my makeup artist and hairstylist really understood my vision. I just wanted to glow for both events, and my makeup artist did a fantastic job! At first, I was going to do a bridal up do for the reception, but decided I didn't look like myself. So I worked with my hairstylist to do a simple, straight, sleek look for the reception."

On how her family helped:

"Both our moms were very involved in the entire planning process. However, I recruited my mom and dad to help with all my DIY projects. For one of my projects, I made paper cranes for my mehndi backdrop. It is funny to think back on how the three us of would sit in an assembly line - fold, pop open the crane and string!"

On her mehndi art:
"My bridal mehndi was done by Sagar's cousin. It was so personal and heartfelt for both for us - it's a memory I will always cherish."

Have a wonderful day, Maharanis! Meet us here tomorrow for a Destination Pakistani Wedding!
