Welcome back Maharanis! Today’s special Indian wedding reception hurrah takes place at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center where a whopping 350 guests arrived to honor Aarthi and Vishant. The bride donned a gown for her wedding reception which was a change from the string of traditional South Asian attire that she wore for her multiple ceremonies. The venue was outfitted with fab decor designed by L’Ambiance with Dynasty AV ensuring that the dance floor always remained jam packed. Guests dined on some fine Indian cuisine dished up by Tandoori Nights with Chef Ravi whipping up a delectable wedding cake! Some of the most creative personal touches were added to the reception party! The bride and groom are huge Game of Thrones fans (I mean, who isn’t?) and crafted their own specialty drinks! The bride’s was the Khaleesi-tini, with the groom’s drink being The King Slayer. Another creative element was the guest book which was a Redskins jersey that all the guests signed.
