As night ascends, our Maharani and groom change into sleek evening attire for their modern Indian reception. Groom Neil changes from his traditional sherwani into a dapper three-piece tux, while Maharani Archana opts for a lovely blue and plum lengha. The colors of her dress are displayed all over the Hyatt Long Beach ballroom, with thoughtful accents planned by Wedding Elegance by Nahid and beautiful lighting from Kumba.
To bring even more drama to their Indian wedding reception, the pair brought in live entertainers from Dream World Cirque, casino dealers from A Casino Event, and even magician Kevin Viner Magic -- holy moley! Lucky Jan Garcia Photography got to witness all this and report back to us. For more on the inspiration behind this elaborate affair, check out what wedding planner Nahid has to say...

More from Wedding Elegance by Nahid: "For Neil and Archana’s reception, they opted for a more Westernized approach, highlighting a travel theme. Colors used for the reception were jewel tones of blue and purple, against white accents. The guests’ tables were named after countries they had traveled to, and will travel to as newlyweds. Entertaining their guests was an important factor for the couple, and they hired acrobatic performers for a Cirque du Soleil-esque performance. In another room, there were poker and black jack tables where guests could try their luck out."
Tomorrow we fly to Singapore for a lovely budget friendly Sikh wedding -- you CAN'T miss this one!
