There are weddings, and then there are productions—and Priyanka & Niraj’s four-day celebration was nothing short of a blockbuster. Imagine a love story told through laughter, color, music, and endless dancing—meticulously planned by the couple and their families without a professional planner. Yes, you read that right. This duo managed to pull off a wedding so flawlessly orchestrated that even seasoned event coordinators would’ve taken notes.

Before the wedding, there was a beautiful love story that began unexpectedly. As physicians on the frontlines of the pandemic, they had paused their dating lives. When restrictions eased, they met for the first time in Philadelphia, marking Priyanka’s first long solo road trip. Their connection grew from shared values and joyful quirks, leading to fun activities like rewriting rap lyrics into love songs and crafting Halloween costumes. They built a strong foundation long before wedding planning began.

The celebrations kicked off with an intimate mehndi at the bride’s sister’s home in Jersey City, where Tanvi Kacharia transformed palms into works of art—baby elephants, lotus flowers, and hanging lanterns delicately winding up Priyanka’s arms in a stunning 7.5-hour session. Usha Foods provided a comforting spread reminiscent of home-cooked Indian feasts. It was a warm, familial start that set the tone for the days ahead: personal, heartfelt, and joyfully chaotic in the best way possible. Friday brought a shift in mood with a chic welcome dinner at a local Italian restaurant. Over wine, laughter, and curated playlists (yes, the couple had even handcrafted the music), families mingled, friendships bloomed, and anticipation for the big weekend bubbled up like prosecco.

Saturday morning began with the Ganesh Puja and Haldi ceremonies at Hilton Parsippany, officiated by Pandit Vimal Shastri from Durga Mandir. It was a beautiful blend of devotion and playfulness—guests in sunshine-colored attire gleefully covered the couple in turmeric, turning the morning into a vibrant splash of gold and giggles. The decor, lovingly done by the bride’s Chachi (aunt), Seema Moondra, radiated intimacy and tradition. Captured beautifully by Avani Patel, these early moments were proof that when family steps up, the results are pure magic (and maybe a little turmeric-stained).

As evening fell, it was time to turn up the volume—enter the Sangeet! Hosted at Aashirwad Palace, the night dazzled with a “modern heritage” theme where teal, orange, and raspberry tones painted the room in pure vibrancy. The décor by Elegant Affairs featured marigolds tumbling from matkis, glowing urlis, and hanging lanterns that gave the event a storybook feel. The entertainment lineup could’ve rivaled a Bollywood awards show: original musical performances, folk dances, choreographed numbers, and even a surprise rap of “Still D.R.E,” kicked off by her nephew on keyboard and performed by her sister and brother-in-law. M4U Events —MC Ashir and DJ Parth— kept the energy sky-high. Known for their dynamic stage presence and unmatched crowd control, they once again proved why they’re among the best in the industry—turning the sangeet into a symphony of rhythm, color, and pure joy.

Makeup by Anu Sarin, the bridal glam maestro, worked her artistry on Priyanka with soft elegance, staying by her side through every touch-up and drape adjustment. She did a great job of maintaining a more natural look. The morning unfolded at the regal Crystal Plaza, where the stunning mandap by Gopal Macchi of Elegant Affairs stood as a masterpiece—soft pastel florals with hints of coral and lush greenery cascading beneath romantic draping. The baraat, meanwhile, was pure joy in motion, and KV Carriage delivered the groom in royal style atop a majestic horse. The ceremony, led by Pandit Himanshu Jani, felt timeless, intimate, and profoundly moving.

Post-ceremony, Moghul Catering delighted guests with a lavish, fully vegetarian menu. The entire banquet team was very professional, and the day-of-coordination was impeccable. Soon after, the newlyweds drove off in a luxury getaway car courtesy of Monaco Experiences, marking the end of one chapter and the sparkling start of another. The talented House of Talent Studio captured every second of emotion through their cinematic lens. Their mastery in storytelling made sure every tear, twirl, and toast lived on forever. And here’s the cherry on top—this wedding feature goes live on the bride’s birthday! If that’s not the universe’s way of saying “happily ever after,” we don’t know what is. This wedding proves that when love, family, and artistry align, the result is nothing short of unforgettable.
