There’s something truly magical about a wedding where every detail feels like it leapt out of a fairytale—Vidhi & Rashesh’s grand celebration was exactly that (with a dash of Instagram-worthy glam, of course). Set across some of New Jersey’s finest venues, this wedding was an unforgettable fusion of vibrant traditions, jaw-dropping décor, and heartwarming moments.

The festivities started at The Westin Mount Laurel, where Vidhi’s pre-wedding events unfolded in a warm, intimate setting. From lively mehndi vibes to serene haldi moments, every frame was picture-perfect. But wait, the grandeur didn’t stop there. For the main events,The Merion stepped in as the ultimate showstopper. This iconic venue perfectly blended classic elegance and modern luxury, hosting the ceremony and reception in style.

This wedding had not one, but two incredible photography teams—each with their artistic lens, both essential to telling Vidhi & Rashesh’s complete love story. Swapnil Junjare was the creative force behind the pre-wedding magic, capturing the joyful chaos of the mehndi and haldi ceremonies with effortless flair. Every detail was lovingly preserved: from the intricate mehndi patterns by Henna by Tejal to the heartfelt family moments and candid bursts of laughter that define these cherished traditions. Swapnil’s ability to freeze those fleeting, genuine emotions made the start of the wedding journey feel personal and intimate.

Regarding the grand ceremony and dazzling reception, IVASH Photography took the stage and elevated the visual narrative to cinematic perfection. With a masterful eye for composition and lighting, they captured the couple’s regal portraits, emotional first looks, and those dreamy newlywed moments with an editorial touch. From the mandap adorned in lush florals to the couple’s first twirl underneath a stunning glass dome, IVASH ensured every iconic scene was immortalized in picture-perfect detail.

Bringing this grand vision to life was Karma Events, which orchestrated every moment with finesse. The floral artistry by Abhishek Decorators was nothing short of breathtaking—from vibrant sangeet setups to the lush mandap adorned with pastel blooms, every scene was swoon-worthy. Adding to the beauty was Vidhi herself, looking resplendent in handpicked designer outfits. For her sangeet, she shimmered in a mirrorwork masterpiece by Abhinav MishraHer wedding look was straight out of a regal dream, wearing an exquisite Shyamal & Bhumika Lehenga, while the reception had her dazzling in a glamorous creation by Seema Gujral. Every look was a statement of elegance and grace. Colour Me Rouge and Cinderella Bridez worked their magic to ensure Vidhi looked flawless from sunrise to the afterparty.

Let’s not forget the feast—Coriander Indian Bistro, Bombay Spice IIand Moghul Catering kept guests raving with their mouth-watering spreads. The beats by Platinum Roadshow ensured the dance floor was never empty, turning every event into a full-blown party. From the emotional first look to the joyful exchange of garlands, Vidhi & Rashesh’s ceremony was a beautiful blend of heartfelt traditions and personal touches. The reception sparkled with romance as the couple twirled under a magnificent glass dome, dancing their way into forever.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met on the dating app, DilMil, while I was in orthodontics residency in St Louis and he was in his cardiology fellowship in Philadelphia. The distance was a concern for both of us but the more we talked, the more we knew this was something special and soon became inseparable after meeting in person.

I don't have one specific moment of knowing he was "the one" but it was the the fact that I could be my silly self around him! He made me feel "at home."

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
I had dropped hints to Rashesh to propose to me in a warmer climate. He knew that the holiday season in December is one of my favorite times, so he planned a trip to Southern California and proposed to me in sunny San Diego! He told me to dress nicely for dinner and had a surprise luxury picnic proposal planned at La Jolla. He even contacted a photographer and had it all set up for sunset time. It was an instant YESS!!!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I made my family go absolutely crazy in finding the bridal lehenga. I knew I wanted to go to India and try them in person - we searched all over Mumbai. I always knew I wanted to wear red, but I tried on the few trending colors from the pinks to the ivories. I ultimately decided on the red Shyamal and Bhumika lengha. From the moment I put it on, I knew it was the one! I was also able to incorporate having a long veil, which I had envisioned for my bridal lengha - it made the whole look even more magical.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
We got most compliments about the reception dance floor and all the fun they had dancing to the bollywood hits!!

Guests also loved the little travel themed details we incorporated into our reception decor ranging from having a globe for the guests to sign to giving each table a destination name that we had traveled to and having a picture of us along with it.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
I walking down the aisle, followed by when the antarpat fell, and we locked our eyes.

Vidhi & Rashesh’s wedding perfectly blended tradition, glamour, and heartfelt moments.
