Topiary gardens, fountains and a big windmill... Mayuri and Krishna’s wedding encapsulates everything you’d imagine to be in a romantic fairy tale. These two were hitched at the grounds of Aqua Turf Club which it was the perfect setting for Ishan Fotografi to capture the couple’s first look and some enchanting pre-ceremony moments at this real-world fairy tale landscape. Maharani Mayuri approached to her soulmate all dressed up in a gorgeous embroidered cream Nazaranaa lehenga that she completed with a red dupatta and a red lipstick shade that brighten up her makeup up look, created by Cinderella Bridez. Krishna’s sherwani with anarkali gave him a resplendent fusion silhouette and a regal look during the most signifying moments of the ceremony. The union was held amid a picturesque topiary garden in a dazzling draped mandap and was a beautiful homage to the newlyweds’ love and culture! Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
I always knew Krishna was going to propose, I just didn't know where or at what exact given moment. His parents took us on a mini vacation to Disney World, it was the first vacation I took with his family so that was always a very special place for the both of us. A couple of years later, Krishna planned a weekend getaway for us, he convinced me we needed to go to the 'Food and Wine Festival' at Epcot. One night during the trip after we finished watching the fireworks, he got down on one knee, said the sweetest things (I don't remember much because I started crying) and asked me to marry him! After that we just basked in the moment, there's something magical about being proposed to at the most magical place on Earth!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Krishna and I along with our families got most of our clothing from Nazranaa in New Jersey. It was a special experience for both families.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
We received so many compliments about the food and the venue. Everyone enjoyed the food so much, we catered from BAPS Shayona, and a local Indian restaurant in Connecticut called Mint Leaf. Our wedding was held outside, with the reception being indoors both at Aqua Turf Club in Connecticut.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
There are two, the first would have to be the first look Krishna and I did in the morning. looking back at the photos, I'm so glad we did. It was an hour of us just soaking it all in and really enjoying each others company along with some quiet time before the day began. The second would have to be the reception. Everyone loved coming together and celebrating as a family. Weddings always turn into mini family reunions and everyone had a great time, eating, drinking and dancing.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Divide and conquer, give family members and friends tasks and remember you don't have to do everything alone! Also the day of, just let everything go and enjoy being in the moment. The wedding may or may not be as perfect as your Pinterest board, but none of that will matter!

We are not done yet, get ready for the soiree images!
