For this celebration, our stunning Indian bride Reena wore a magnificent mint, pink and gold lengha, which was styled to perfection by Kalpana Beauty! Exquisite mehndi from Bridal Henna Artist and fabulous hair and makeup from Kalpana Beauty completed the Maharani's sensational reception look! Guests were also dazzled by the delicious catering by 5ive Chefs and ultra cute wedding cake from Carlo's Bakery! After everyone ate their fill, it was time to hit the dance floor, with DJ Amit Kapoor of Absolute Rhythm Entertainment playing the ultimate party songs to keep everyone moving! Maharani Reena on the most magical moment of the wedding:
"After all the speeches were given by both our dads, my sister (matron of honor), my best friend of 20 years (maid of honor) and Yatrik's cousin, we cut the cake. Following the cake cutting, Yatrik took the mike and thanked our guests for coming. All of a sudden, he turned around and started talking to me. He's talking about 'We have a night to get away. So come on and fly with me, as we make our great escape" and "I'll take you away, hey, turn this place into our private getaway". I was thinking 'What is WRONG with you! Why are you talking like Jay Sean?!' All of a sudden, someone brought a chair behind me and sat me down and my favorite song by Jay Sean started playing. Yatrik had choreographed a dance to 'Down' with my cousins and one of his groomsmen and danced for me. My heart absolutely melted."
On their first dance song:
"When we first started dating, we spent a lot of time at the beach. He lived by the city and I lived down by the shore and he used to drive from all the way up north to the beach after work in the traffic to see me. We chose the song 'Lucky' by Colbie Collait and Jason Mraz. This song was just so appropriate for how our love story started as it was so difficult for us to spend only one day every weekend together and have to leave each other at the end of the day. We truly are best friends who fell in love and I think that is why our love for each other is so strong."
On her favorite detail from the wedding:
"I had little touches of peacocks everywhere. Yatrik's grandmother had passed on a pure silver peacock 'jhumko' to wear on the waist of my lengha which I had on the whole day. I also had peacock feathers in the centerpieces, my bouquet, and a Swarovski crystal peacock feather comb in my hair for the reception."
Have an amazing day, Maharanis! We'll be back with another superb shaadi tomorrow!
