We completely resonated with this Maharani Heena when she said, “a multi day wedding is no joke! It is a mix of anxiety, happiness, and exhaustion, but it is absolutely worth it!” Heena and Kushal’s joyous, colorful nuptials looked like it was planned to perfection! The wedding festivities commenced with a Mehndi ceremony at Heena’s home, where Mehndi by Aiza showcased her workmanship through fine Arabic henna designs, and a celebratory lunch powered by Krishna Catering. Singing, dancing, and board games kickstarted the wedding fun. An intimate Haldi ceremony and related rituals were followed by Garba and Sangeet at MCC Banquets & Events, that made for a perfect canvas for splashes of colors, brushstrokes of religious traditions, and finishing touches of endless dancing brought about by DJ Kuku. Against blingy violet and magenta drapes, a white swing seated the elated couple center stage, with ethnic motif carvings on both sides. Heena set the stage on fire with her thumkas, Bollywood moves, and the customary swirls in her embroidered fuchsia and teal lehenga. Epique Cinema skillfully offered interludes of the couple’s private waterfront photoshoot with accompanying chronicles, to transition between events. This gave us ample insights into every detail of the wedding! The ceremony at Wyndham Garden Sterling Heights looked like a Bollywood movie set fused with inspiration from the Taj Mahal. The pearly white stone-studded mandap comprised of a backdrop and two side panels, with crystal torans and drops. White guest chairs incorporated a pop of color through the red chair bows. It was the most exquisite way to celebrate 8 years of togetherness! Heena’s outfit went hand-in-hand with the crystal resplendence: she donned a white bridal lehenga with red paisley prints, and silver embroidery all over. Kushal’s white and red sherwani outfit coordinated with his sweetheart’s. Accessories were key to this wedding fashion, like Kushal’s red Jodhpurs, and the groomsmen’s sea turquoise Sehras with silver detailing. This #MistryImpossible celebration ended on a high energy note with a reception hosted at the Wyndham Garden Sterling Heights, and featured a scrumptious looking cake with a gleaming “HK” topper, synonymous with the gleaming couple!
