From the moment guests arrived, the tone was unmistakable: relaxed luxury with a view. Vineyards stretched endlessly, the summer light softened everything it touched, and the setting invited everyone to slow down and savor—not just the scenery, but the experience itself. With 101–200 guests in attendance, the weekend felt intimate without ever losing its sense of grandeur.

At the helm of it all was Amora by Neha, whose signature approach to South Asian celebrations is rooted in flow, feeling, and thoughtful storytelling. Every transition—from sangeet to ceremony to reception—felt effortless, proving that great planning isn’t about controlling the moment, but about creating space for it to unfold naturally.

Hello Kismet transformed the resort into a romantic dreamscape, layering soft florals, organic textures, and elevated details that complemented the Napa surroundings rather than competing with them. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met on a dating app in Chicago back in 2019. Our first date was brunch at a place literally called Brunch in River North!

We have been in a long-distance relationship for about five years, spanning from Chicago to Salt Lake City and San Francisco, while Rishabh completed his training and Kajol finished her schooling. Throughout our relationship, we traveled often and embraced various hobbies, including skiing, skydiving, and exploring new cultures.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We had a great planner Neha from Amora Events who was able to provide us with a list of great vendors to select from. We wanted to highlight the beauty of Napa and chose decor and florals that showcased that beauty.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Growing up, I always watched Say Yes to the Dress on TLC and always knew I wanted a white/blush dress. I found my dress while a walk in appointment at Sabyasachi in Mumbai and instantly fell in love with all the little details and floral design.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
During the span of our relationship, we both wrote cards to each other (together we both have over 500 cards!). During our first look, we read our last cards to each other. As well we wanted to incorporate this element to our wedding by writing hand written cards to each one of our guests, which they enjoyed a lot.

The ceremony at The Grand set the tone with an elegant backdrop that allowed the couple—and their story—to shine. As the festivities transitioned into full celebration mode, DJ Bhajan kept the energy high and the dance floor packed, because

let’s be honest, no South Asian wedding is complete until at least one song turns into a full family dance-off. Adding to the emotional rhythm of the day was live music by Navdeep Kundi, whose performance brought warmth and soul to the celebration. These are the moments guests remember long after the last song plays—the kind that linger, replaying themselves in stories and videos for years to come.

From tender portraits to vibrant candids bursting with movement, their imagery tells the story exactly as it felt—joyful, colorful, and full of life.
