If Napa Valley had a love language, Kajol & Rishabh's wedding would have spoken it fluently. Set amid the rolling vineyards and refined calm of Carneros Resort and Spa, their July celebration blended wine-country elegance with rich Indian tradition—equal parts cinematic romance and joyful, high-energy celebration.
From the moment guests arrived, the tone was unmistakable: relaxed luxury with a view. Vineyards stretched endlessly, the summer light softened everything it touched, and the setting invited everyone to slow down and savor—not just the scenery, but the experience itself. With 101–200 guests in attendance, the weekend felt intimate without ever losing its sense of grandeur.
At the helm of it all was Amora by Neha, whose signature approach to South Asian celebrations is rooted in flow, feeling, and thoughtful storytelling. Every transition—from sangeet to ceremony to reception—felt effortless, proving that great planning isn’t about controlling the moment, but about creating space for it to unfold naturally.
Design played a starring role throughout the weekend. Hello Kismet transformed the resort into a romantic dreamscape, layering soft florals, organic textures, and elevated details that complemented the Napa surroundings rather than competing with them. The mandap felt airy and intentional, framed by nature and florals in perfect balance—a reminder that sometimes, less really does say more.
Kajol’s bridal style was nothing short of iconic. Wearing couture from Sabyasachi and Gaurav Gupta, she embodied modern Indian elegance with confidence and grace. Her look was elevated further with statement jewelry by Bulgari, adding a bold, editorial edge that felt perfectly at home in wine country. Beauty by Artistry by Denise kept the look polished yet luminous—timeless, but never overdone.
Food, always a highlight at any Indian wedding, was handled with finesse by Jalsa Catering, delivering flavors that felt celebratory, comforting, and crowd-pleasing all at once. As the evening unfolded, DJ Kingh kept the energy rising, seamlessly moving from emotional moments to full dance-floor takeover mode—because yes, even Napa knows how to party.
Adding layers of artistry and memory were thoughtful details woven throughout the day: elegant stationery by Created by GG, intricate mehndi by Mehndhi Designer, and a live wedding painting by Live Painting by Marina, capturing the celebration in real time. Behind the scenes, WTFAB Media documented the weekend through a modern lens—because some moments are meant to be shared instantly.
Every emotion, glance, and golden-hour moment was captured by For Fearless Hearts, whose storytelling approach turned Kajol and Rishabh’s wedding into a visual narrative that feels both intimate and expansive. Their imagery doesn’t just show what happened—it preserves how it felt to be there, surrounded by love, laughter, and vineyard views.
Kajol & Rishabh’s wedding is proof that Indian celebrations can travel anywhere and still feel deeply rooted in tradition. When intention, artistry, and trust come together, the result is a wedding that doesn’t just look beautiful—it lingers.
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met on a dating app in Chicago back in 2019. Our first date was brunch at a place literally called Brunch in River North!
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We have been in a long-distance relationship for about five years, spanning from Chicago to Salt Lake City and San Francisco, while Rishabh completed his training and Kajol finished her schooling. Throughout our relationship, we traveled often and embraced various hobbies, including skiing, skydiving, and exploring new cultures.
Rishabh proposed during a staycation at Park City, UT over s’mores.
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We had a great planner Neha from Amora Events who was able to provide us with a list of great vendors to select from. We wanted to highlight the beauty of Napa and chose decor and florals that showcased that beauty.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Growing up, I always watched Say Yes to the Dress on TLC and always knew I wanted a white/blush dress. I found my dress while a walk in appointment at Sabyasachi in Mumbai and instantly fell in love with all the little details and floral design.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
During the span of our relationship, we both wrote cards to each other (together we both have over 500 cards!). During our first look, we read our last cards to each other. As well we wanted to incorporate this element to our wedding by writing hand written cards to each one of our guests, which they enjoyed a lot.
Head to Instagram and tell us what made you fall in love with this Napa Valley celebration.
