Newark, NJ, Indian Wedding by Odyssey Films

What do you get when two middle school seatmates turn into soulmates? A Newark wedding that’s as heartwarming as it is glamorous! Nikita & Rudra’s journey from sharing a last name in class to sharing vows at Newark is the kind of love story that makes even wedding planners tear up.

Let’s talk about the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott. No, this wasn’t a layover—it was a full-blown wedding touchdown! With elegant spaces transformed for each celebration, the Marriott offered the ideal blend of modern convenience and classic grandeur. Whether guests flew in or floated in from nearby, the location was a dream for logistics—and a delight in décor. Each space was effortlessly transformed from ceremony to reception, elevating the celebrations without missing a beat (or a boarding call).

Let’s take a moment to bow down to Aria Events, the genius behind the seamless flow of events, Pinterest-worthy aesthetics, and “wait, how did they know we wanted that?” moments. Aria didn’t just coordinate logistics—they understood Nikita & Rudra as a couple. From pre-wedding strategy sessions turned into date nights to the laughter-filled execution of their dream weekend, Aria was the MVP of vibe-setting. Every moment felt intentionally personal, yet refreshingly stress-free (and if you’ve ever planned a wedding, you know that’s a unicorn feat). No Indian wedding is complete without mehndi—and Henna by Sushma didn’t just deliver; she created art. Nikita’s intricate bridal mehndi was a masterpiece, woven with elegance and fine detail. Whether you zoomed in or admired from afar, it told a love story all its own. Guests couldn’t stop complimenting the artistry, and we’re still wondering how hands can be that steady for that long.

Let’s talk florals—because Nirali Decor truly outdid themselves. Think pastel palettes, lush textures, and delicate designs that felt straight out of a dream sequence. The mandap was ethereal, with soft blooms that whispered romance. Each setup—from the ceremony to the reception—was visually stunning and deeply reflective of Nikita’s smooth, elegant vision. Nirali doesn’t just decorate; they narrate. And this wedding’s story? It smelled like roses and looked like heaven. When you have Tamanna Malik ArtistryGlam & Glow Beauty LLCEverything Beautiful Artistry, and Beauty by Frenchie on your glam squad, you know the glow is going to be next-level. Nikita’s bridal looks were effortless yet striking, and each artist brought their A-game to create styles that complemented every outfit and event vibe. From soft glam to striking evening elegance, Nikita embodied the epitome of “bridal goals.”

Behind the lens, Regal Palette Studio delivered stunning stills, freezing each smile and tear in time. But when it came to bringing the full emotional arc of Nikita & Rudra’s wedding to life, Odyssey Film truly stole the spotlight. Their cinematography wasn’t just a recap—it was a full-blown cinematic experience. From the goosebump-worthy first look to the soul-stirring antarpat reveal, every transition, angle, and detail was handled with artistry and care. Nikita shared that wedding planning was less about pressure and more about partnership. The way she and Rudra turned to-do lists into date nights? That’s the kind of love that outlasts even the most extravagant celebration.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We've actually known each other since middle school! We shared the same last name, so we always ended up sitting next to each other in classes. Our friendship grew naturally over the years, and although he always had a little crush on me back then, nothing ever came of it. Fast forward to college—we both ended up in Philadelphia, attending different schools (Temple University for me and University of the Sciences  for him). We’d occasionally run into each other with different friend groups, but it wasn’t until New Year’s Eve of 2018 that he finally shot his shot. Without intentionally planning it, our first official date ended up being on Valentine’s Day...at Shake Shack. That's when I realized he was "the one"—everything felt easy, familiar, and meant to be. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
What I thought was just a sweet girls' day out turned into the biggest surprise of my life! My sister, cousin, and best friend had planned a lunch at Grounds for Sculpture, and my fiancé was hanging out with us that morning, getting ready for a “golf day” — totally normal for him, so I didn’t suspect a thing. After lunch, we wandered through the sculpture park, which felt pretty casual… until we somehow ended up near the parking lot. That’s when my sister suddenly insisted we had to see one last sculpture. As we made our way to the "spot," she gave me a little push forward — and there he was, standing in an artisanal light blue suit, smiling from ear to ear. I couldn’t help but smile just as big. He had planned everything so thoughtfully — a proposal with our siblings present, followed by a lunch with our parents. It was intimate, personal, and absolutely perfect — I couldn’t have dreamed up a more beautiful moment.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We’re both pretty laid-back when it comes to decision-making, so going into wedding planning, we really only had a few “musts.” What mattered most to us was finding vendors who could genuinely understand us as a couple and could envision our ideas. Honestly, getting to know all the different vendors and making sure they were the right fit was the most time-consuming part—but once we locked in our team, everything flowed smoothly. From the venue to the outfits, hair & makeup, and decor—every detail came together in a way that felt so authentically us.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I never really envisioned myself in the traditional red Hindu bridal lehenga, but I always dreamed of being a bride. Pastels always felt more “me” — soft, elegant, and timeless. Believe it or not, the very first dress I tried on ended up being the one. I had that instant, butterflies-in-your-stomach feeling, and I just knew I didn’t need to try on anything else. It was everything I had imagined and more. Sometimes, the dress really does find you!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
There were so many little moments that made the journey special — my fiancé and I lived together before the wedding, so we’d often turn planning meetings into fun little date nights, which made the whole process feel exciting instead of stressful. But the moment that replays in my mind the most is when I walked down the aisle. As part of the ceremony, his sister pulled down the antarpat (the cloth held between us), and for the first time that day, we saw each other as wife and husband. The butterflies, the emotion, the way we both couldn’t stop smiling — it was pure bliss.

From heartfelt vows to epic dance floors, their Newark wedding was pure magic from start to end.

Cancun, MX, Indian Wedding by iHarvPhoto

When love shares the same name and knows no boundaries, you can expect something truly magical. For Canadian couple Anmol & Anmol, their wedding in Cancun wasn't just a picturesque celebration—it was a grand ode to heritage, romance, and unforgettable memories. Set against the aquamarine waters and glowing skies of Mexico, their wedding was the perfect fusion of tradition and tropical luxury.

Hosted at the Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, guests were welcomed into an experience that beautifully intertwined Indian roots with coastal elegance. From thoughtfully curated welcome bags featuring Indian and Mexican treats, to custom events planned by the meticulous HSD Dream Weddings, every element whispered, "This is going to be epic."

The festivities kicked off with a vibrant Haldi ceremony, where golden turmeric flew as freely as the laughter. Family and friends blessed the couple in a joyful celebration that was as lively as it was heartfelt. Then came the Mehndi, where Loto Mehndi worked their intricate magic, guests enjoyed Rajasthani-inspired décor, and the music was as colorful as the outfits.

As dawn painted the Cancun sky, the groom Anmol, arrived in high-energy style for his Baraat, dancing to the pulse of Drums in Paradise with an entourage that could rival any Bollywood scene. At the floral-adorned mandap, designed by Grupo Gama with blooms by Bi Floral Silk Flowers and FTulipania, the sacred Hindu rituals unfolded as the ocean waves hummed in harmony. The bride, Anmol, looked ethereal in a blush pink lengha shimmering with elegance, brought to life by Hina MUA's flawless hair and makeup artistry. The groom's white sherwani, topped with a pearl-draped turban, complemented the aesthetic perfectly. And yes, they both wore garlands with pink roses, because subtle coordination is a language of love. When night fell, glam took over. The reception dazzled under the stars with golden lights, crystal décor, and a dance floor that looked straight out of a fairy tale. The bride swapped her pastels for a jaw-dropping champagne lehenga with feathered accents (hello, fashion icon), and the groom went full Bond in a black tux.

Let's talk about the visual genius behind this celebration: iHarvPhoto. Their photography and cinematography didn't just capture images—they told a story. From stolen glances to dips and twirls, every moment was framed with elegance and heart. Whether it was a soft sunset kiss or a power-packed dance shot mid-spin, iHarvPhoto nailed every frame with an editorial flair that's impossible to ignore. From the intimate glances to the twirls, dips, kisses, and all the in-between joy, iHarvPhoto captured it with artistic mastery. Every photo told a story—and together, they built a visual novel of this stunning South Asian wedding. Whether it was a serene kiss by the mandap or a high-voltage dance move on the lit-up floor, the storytelling through photography and cinematography was next-level. DJ Gagan spun beats that kept the dance floor packed, while Mills James delivered mesmerizing lighting and production that made every photo pop.

Miami Beach, FL Indian Wedding by Joshua Kane Photography

Let’s talk about range—because Aarthi & Aidan’s wedding weekend wasn’t just a celebration, it was a full-blown production with multiple plot twists, designer fashion, and some of the best party vibes South Florida has ever seen. Hosted at the iconic Eden Roc Miami Beach, their three-day extravaganza brought together rich South Asian traditions, breezy beach romance, and just the right amount of champagne tower energy. With ocean views, luxury amenities, and effortlessly chic vibes, Eden Roc proved to be the perfect stage for a wedding that was anything but ordinary.

The festivities kicked off with a vibrant welcome party styled after the Amalfi Coast—yep, lemon vases, blue-and-white porcelain, and the kind of golden sunset that makes you want to extend your vacation indefinitely. The scene was designed by the phenomenal Tres Chic Event Planning, led by Aarthi’s real-life fairy godmother, Marianne. With chilled drinks and high vibes flowing freely, the tone was set: this wasn’t going to be a typical wedding—it was going to be epic. Day two brought the Hindu wedding, which had guests raving for days. Think banana leaves, temple-inspired décor, and an aisle that looked like a floral runway. Aarthi’s dream vision came to life thanks to A Creation by Mario, who crafted lush greens, delicate white florals, and golden accents that transformed the venue into a divine sanctuary. And let’s be honest: if your guests say it’s “the best décor they’ve ever seen,” you know it slapped.

Come reception time, Pavan Events seamlessly transformed the vibe into a full-blown dance fantasy. With a curated mix of South Asian classics, Top 40 hits, and deep cuts only true dancefloor lovers know, the transitions were sharp, the mood electric, and the crowd unrelenting. Guests didn’t just dance—they lived on that floor. From the couple’s grand entrance to the final encore hours later, every moment was enhanced by Pavan’s masterful control of the soundscape. Whether it was hyping the crowd, reading the room, or building up the perfect drop, this DJ team didn’t just show up—they delivered a concert-worthy experience.

Capturing every laugh, tear, and twirl was Diego Stuart Films, whose cinematography didn’t just document the weekend—it told a story. With the same energy as a Netflix romance special (but with a better wardrobe and lighting), their work will be the keepsake that Aarthi and Aidan relive for decades to come. Diego captured the grandeur and intimacy equally, blending sweeping drone shots with emotional close-ups and candid reactions. Joshua Kane Photography didn’t just capture the weekend—he immortalized it. Every shot was polished, emotive, and perfectly timed. From editorial-style portraits of Aarthi in her reception gown to sun-drenched ceremony moments on the beach, his lens caught both the grandeur and the intimacy of the events. Joshua has a gift for blending timeless composition with a modern, artistic edge—every photo felt like a magazine spread, but with genuine emotion.

Aarthi’s multiple bridal looks—draped and styled flawlessly by Blush by D—were an ode to modern South Asian bridal fashion. From her traditional red sari to her jaw-dropping red reception gown and finally her fairy-tale white dress, every look was perfectly elevated by the glam magic of Marz Makeup and Hair. Her glow could’ve been spotted from across the venue (and likely was). Adding another layer of artistry, Henna by Sumaiya Waheed created intricate mehndi designs that told their own love story across Aarthi’s hands and arms—every swirl and paisley as refined and graceful as the bride herself. Together, these beauty elements created a head-turning bridal aesthetic worthy of every camera flash—and then some.
