In case you were wondering who is the mastermind behind the exquisite makeup and sleek hairstyle, it is none other than Khalisah, who delivered nothing but perfection on every little detail. To add an extra touch of elegance and traditional flair, this Maharani got a fabulous Mehndi designed by Henna by Teena, which narrates these betrothed's personal love story. The cherry on top of this trendy and fashionable look was in charge of Banglez Jewelry, who provided royalty accessories like the nose ring that we all loved! How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Believe it or not, my father introduced me to him while we were at the temple! I knew he was the one during our second date when we spent an entire evening drinking herbal tea, listening to music and just sharing our life stories with each other. He was just so easy to talk to and I felt like I've known him my whole life.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
He told me to get dressed up and meet him downtown to go to his office Christmas party. When I arrived at his place, I walked in to see rose petals, candles and fairy lights beautifully decorating the entire living room and then he got down on one knee and said "I love you" for the very first time and asked me to marry him. I was so shocked that I almost forgot to say yes!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I had a very clear idea of what I wanted since I had an entire Pinterest board dedicated to my dream wedding for years. My husband and I made most of our decisions quite quickly because we knew what we liked and we were very aligned in our vision. We only met with each of our vendors about 2-3 times and had all the details confirmed.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew exactly what colours I wanted but I decided to try different styles and colours to open up my options. I tried on many bridal lenghas at different stores all over Toronto but then I ended up getting my outfits over a video call at 3am while my dad was in India shopping around for me. I watched the store attendants try on outfits for me. In under an hour, I had outfits for my wedding and reception!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of wedding planning was food tasting! Food is one of the most important parts of the wedding and we wanted to ensure our all-vegetarian menu was a hit! Being able to explore different dishes and customize our options was really fun and delicious.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
That's a tough one, I've heard so much great feedback from our friends and family. I think one thing that everyone said was that they had a blast at the reception because the music was really good. And I couldn't agree more! The dance floor was packed from beginning to end. Koodos to our DJ!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The moment I sat down next to husband at our wedding ceremony definitely stands out. I was so anxious and stressed out until that moment. But when I sat next to him, he made a joke about me taking forever to get ready and I laughed and all the stressed melted away.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
My family all flew in from Trinidad, India, New Jersey and Florida for the wedding. The maticoor night which was the night before the wedding, was really special because it was an intimate event with just my closest family and friends. Everyone pitched in: my mom and aunts spent the entire day cooking all the delicious Trinidadian food, my cousins rehearsed our dance for the reception and my best friend helped me oversee my uncles decorating the entire house and setting up the stage. It was truly a special day.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
There will always be a reason to stress out, there is always something that doesn't work out the way you planned, but at the end of the day, it's important to share the happy moments with those around you and cherish these memories. This is a happy time in your life! Be present, be happy and show gratitude to those around you that are sharing in your moments.

We are just getting started over here, so make sure to stay close if you don't want to miss all the beauty that is coming your way.

Long Beach, CA Indian Fusion Wedding by Dove Weddings

Welcome back, darlings! We are glad you could join us in the second part of this lovely story. As mentioned in the previous installment, this wedding celebration packs tons of surprises. But the main surprise was the fact that these two lovebirds didn't just have one wedding ceremony, but two! They both wanted to pay homage to their backgrounds and cultures, and they nailed it. This time, the patio of The Ebell Club Long Beach hosted a Christian ceremony that got us sighing. And we want to make a big shoutout to Klink Events for the perfect coordination and execution of this event, as everything turned out to be amazing. Both our lovebirds attended this wedding ceremony looking at their best. Still, it was Avneet who stole the show once she burst into the room looking like a princess thanks to the nude makeup and wavy hairstyle designed by Dolled up by Lulu. And we found ourselves lost of words when trying to describe so much beauty. Thankfully, Dove Weddings was there to capture shots from every angle, immortalizing every single moment of this event. If you don't want to miss any detail, make sure to take a look at the full gallery that we have prepared for today. It overflows with so much flair and inspiring ideas that we are sure it will take your breath away. It is so amazing!

Columbus, OH Indian Fusion Wedding by Seth & Beth Photography

We are so glad to have you back, darlings! We have arrived at the third and final part of Grace & Pran's big wedding festivities. This time, we'll be heading down inside the halls of the Franklin Park Conservatory to take part in the elegant and luxurious reception party that marked the end of these wedding festivities! The entire room of this enchanting venue overflowed with so much beauty. Still, nothing even compared to the fabulous look of our gorgeous Maharani, who burst into the room looking like a princess dressed in a white dress from Blue Bridal Boutique. She looked so ravishing that more than one of the guests dropped a couple of tears of happiness when seeing her incommensurable beauty! To turn this reception into a full-flair party, our lovebirds decided to bring Safety Squad on board. And what a great decision it was because they enliven every moment of this gala putting everyone on their feet. All the guests had a great time dancing, celebrating, and tasting the delicious food from Amar India Restaurant and Hilton Columbus at Easton, right before enjoying the sweet desserts from Le Gateau. And before we let this lovely duo followed their way into their happily ever after, we want to give a big shout to Seth & Beth Photography for sharing the magnificent shots they captured during this entire wedding celebration. Thanks to their remarkable work, we can enjoy the full gallery below. And believe us, you cannot miss it out. It is breathtaking!
