There are weddings that are beautiful… and then there are weddings that make you question whether you accidentally walked onto the set of a Netflix romantic drama with an unlimited floral budget. Saakshi & Rishaan’s wedding weekend was exactly that kind of celebration—overflowing with emotion, personality, culture, and enough unforgettable moments to leave every guest emotionally attached by the final dance song.

Hosted at the stunning Four Seasons Hotel Nashville, this multi-day celebration effortlessly blended modern luxury with deeply personal storytelling. From the very beginning, it was clear this wasn’t just about hosting a wedding—it was about creating an experience that reflected who Saakshi & Rishaan truly are as a couple: joyful, creative, sentimental, and completely obsessed with each other in the sweetest way possible.

The weekend began with a wildly fun “Punjab Meets Nashville” Sangeet that somehow managed to feel both glamorous and delightfully playful at the same time. Think vibrant phulkari-inspired details, hand-painted accents, custom coordinated outfits, cowboy boots, hats, and an atmosphere so energetic it practically deserved its own encore tour. Guests filled the dance floor while emotional family performances kept everyone laughing, cheering, and pretending they weren’t crying during sentimental moments. Because no South Asian family function is complete without someone saying, “Okay, but who choreographed THAT?”

The culinary experience byNawabi Hyderabadi House was equally unforgettable, showcasing rich flavors from across India that kept guests making repeat visits to the buffet line “just for a small taste.” We see you, uncles.

Behind the seamless execution of the weekend was the incredibly talented team at Party People Events and Decor, who transformed every single event into its own immersive world. From the bold sangeet aesthetic to the dreamy candlelit reception, their planning, design, and floral vision created a celebration that felt cohesive while still allowing each event to have its own personality. Every detail felt intentional, elevated, and deeply reflective of the couple’s story—which is exactly what makes exceptional South Asian wedding design so impactful.

Then came the rooftop Haldi… and honestly, this may have been one of the happiest Haldi celebrations we’ve ever witnessed. Inspired by Phoolon Ki Holi, the event exploded into a vibrant burst of flower petals, sunshine, music, and laughter. What started as a beautiful daytime celebration quickly evolved into guests spontaneously jumping into the pool—because apparently, when the vibes are immaculate, dry clothes become optional.

For the ceremony, the ballroom transformed into a breathtaking floral fantasy beneath a custom mirrored mandap dripping in cascading ombré blooms that shimmered beautifully from every angle. Saakshi’s entrance was deeply emotional and incredibly personal. Carrying the love of her closest family and friends quite literally with her, she walked beneath a canopy marked with their handprints while wearing a customized choora designed especially for the moment. And then—because being iconic apparently wasn’t enough—she walked down the aisle to a song she had personally written and recorded for Rishaan herself. Yes. We’re still recovering emotionally, too.

Saakshi looked every bit the radiant Maharani, while Rishaan embodied the elegance and calm confidence of a true Maharaja. Together, they brought warmth and authenticity to every moment, making their ceremony feel intimate despite the grandeur surrounding them.

The magic continued into the reception, where hundreds of glowing candles transformed the ballroom into what felt like an open-air dream beneath the stars. Before the dancing began, Saakshi’s father shared a heartfelt poem he had written for his daughter—a moment so emotional there probably wasn’t a waterproof mascara in sight. But after the tears came the party.

And what a party it was. With music led by DJ Essence and dynamic production and lighting from Desi Sound Guys, the reception quickly turned into a nonstop dance celebration worthy of its own festival lineup. Add in decadent sweets from Heavnly Sweets, glamorous styling by Shakiba Moradi, and interactive fun from DJ Rideout, and guests were fully immersed in the magic from beginning to end.

Capturing every breathtaking detail with cinematic artistry, Ivash Studio documented the weekend beautifully through both photography and film. Every frame feels rich with movement, emotion, and authenticity—from joyful rooftop chaos to intimate candlelit moments. The same-day edit shown after the reception allowed everyone to relive the weekend all over again… which honestly feels slightly unfair to every guest who already cried at least twice that day.

Saakshi & Rishaan’s wedding was more than visually stunning—it was heartfelt, personal, and overflowing with love in every possible way. The kind of celebration that reminds us South Asian weddings aren’t just events… they’re living love stories shared with everyone lucky enough to witness them.
