Allison & Dhruv’s wedding was more than a fusion of two cultures — it was a masterpiece of intentionality, warmth, and jaw-dropping beauty. Hosted at not one but two stunning venues — the vibrant Washington Marriott at Metro Center for the sangeet, and the architecturally rich National Museum of Women in the Arts for the wedding and reception — this celebration proved that love is truly an art form.

Let’s start with the Sangeet. Picture this: shimmering drapes in jewel tones, strings of florals, a bangle bar that made every guest feel like royalty, and yes — enough dancing to shake the city. Our Day Events ensured the entire evening pulsed with joy, color, and emotion, while guests adorned themselves in bangles from the vibrant display and clutched the most festive favors around. Allison was stunned in a contemporary ivory lengha adorned with intricate embroidery, paired with statement silver jewelry and the most radiant mehndi by Bhavna Naik. Dhruv matched her grace in an ivory sherwani, and together, they were picture-perfect against every backdrop.

Now, onto the wedding day — and what a day it was! Rex & Regina Events curated a timeline and design that was nothing short of seamless. The couple’s venue choice held special meaning — Allison’s father had helped renovate the National Museum of Women in the Arts years ago, making their vows in the Grand Hall even more poignant. And oh, the design! Sophie Felts worked floral magic using in-season blooms to create soft, romantic arrangements that complemented the venue’s classical elegance without overpowering it. A quiet, neutral palette lets the historic beauty of the museum speak for itself. Allison’s bridal look was a showstopper: her Justin Alexander gown flowed with timeless grace, perfectly paired with a cathedral-length veil, a modern bouquet, and soft-glam beauty by Natalya Anderson.Dhruv, of course, looked dashing in his tailored black tux, and their wedding party — coordinated in champagne and black — brought effortless sophistication to every photo.
