Once upon a swipe, Shaily was chilling on her couch, casually navigating the world of online dating, when Brandon’s profile popped up. A single “hey” later—and a missed flight on Brandon’s part—they were deep in conversation and already rewriting their love story. (Reminder: even travel mishaps might be fate’s weird way of matchmaking.)

Set against the sweeping vistas of the Camelback Mountain Resort, this fusion wedding was equal parts breathtaking, emotional, and enjoyable. The couple envisioned a venue that could accommodate their cultural traditions and extensive guest list—Camelback’s outdoor ceremony space fit the bill perfectly with its panoramic mountain views and serene atmosphere. From her mehndi glow-up to that emotional first look (cue the tears—and we mean ALL the tears), Shaily stunned in a custom white and gold bridal lengha with just the right touch of red to honor tradition and appease mom. Brandon complemented her with princely poise in an intricately embroidered sherwani. The blend of Indian and Western ceremony elements—officiated by both Maharaj Sanjay Pandya and Reverend Steve Hummel—gave guests a heartwarming glimpse into their two worlds coming together as one.

Let’s talk decor goals: think green, blush, and white elegance with a mandap that looks plucked from a floral fairytale. Exclusive Events NY brought the Pinterest board to life, and then some. The transformation for the reception? Straight out of a modern luxe dream. Black and white with bold green accents and a jaw-dropping sweetheart stage—seriously, it deserved its moment in the spotlight. Luxe Event Group, led by the talented Arjun, absolutely owned the baraat and reception. From Bollywood beats to high-energy mixes that had both sides of the family throwing themselves into the dance floor, the vibe was electric from start to finish. Guests raved about the playlist, the seamless transitions, and the nonstop energy. Let’s say—when the groom’s side is new to Indian weddings and still can’t stop dancing? You know the DJ crushed it.

The glam squad also deserves a standing ovation: Makeup by Ami enhanced Shaily’s natural beauty to perfection. Aneeta Nashad - The Henna Girl, crafted intricate mehndi designs that captured every gaze (and made for Instagram-worthy moments galore). And then there was Shrut Foto, led by the incredibly talented Hitesh Patel and team, who didn’t just photograph the wedding—they told a story through every single frame. From the moody, cinematic pre-wedding portraits to the candid, emotionally charged first look, every image was saturated with atmosphere and artistry. Their eye for light and composition transformed intimate moments—such as Shaily admiring her mehndi or the couple exchanging vows on the mountaintop—into magazine-worthy masterpieces.

But what made the day truly unforgettable for Shaily & Brandon? The togetherness. From bonding with cousins during dance rehearsals to saying “yes” through happy tears at the proposal, every step of the journey was filled with laughter, love, and joy. Shaily’s advice to future brides? Let it go. Not the Elsa way (unless you want to), but the “don’t sweat the small stuff” kind of way. She handed over the stress to her wedding planners and embraced the moment—and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met on Bumble. One night, I was on my couch just swiping left and right, and I came across Brandon's profile. I swiped right on it. An hour later, I just sent a message saying "hey," and he immediately responded. He asked me to meet him at a bar, but I said no, and so we planned to meet up after his boys' trip that he was about to go on. The only reason we matched is because he is his friend, and they missed their flight out of the Philadelphia airport. We talked all weekend via the app, and we continued our date when he came back.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
It was 2 weeks before my birthday,y and my parents had Brandon's family over for lunch. I thought it was just a family lunch. Towards the end of the lunch, before everyone was heading their separate ways, my mom pulled out a birthday cake.

Everyone sang and as i was cutting the cake Brandon was asking me a bunch of questions. I was getting irritated, haha, and I turned around, and he was down on one knee. It took me a while to say yes because I was in shock and tears.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We knew we wanted to get married somewhere in between both of our hometowns. Immediately, a halfway spot we thought of was the Poconos. There weren't many venues in the Pocono area that held our guest count and accepted outside catering, so it was easy to pick out Camelback. Camelback was the only venue that held our capacity at their outdoor site. The outdoor site was gorgeous.

Wedding planning was not stressful at all for us. I had a vision of what I wanted,d and I was so happy my vendors made it come to life. The hardest part about it all was trying to find vendors that were within our price range.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew for the bridal lengha I didn't want to wear red because it is not flattering on me, but my mom wanted me to have red incorporated somehow. I always loved white and gold so i knew i wanted that to be the base. When we went to India, we went to a few stores in Ahmedabad, and I immediately fell in love with the 2nd dress I tried on. It was white and gold with hints of red on the skirt.
For the reception, I knew i wanted to wear a traditional white dress to represent both cultures and I went to a few bridal boutiques with my mom and sister in law.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process was getting together with my cousins most weekends. I am a very family-oriented person, and having moved further away, it was nice seeing them all the time.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The food and the music! Moghul did an amazing job with the food, as always, and Arjun and his team absolutely crushed it with the music at the baraat and reception. There was never a time when the dance floor was empty. Most of my husband's family had never seen an Indian wedding before, so they were in awe from the beginning to the end.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The first look was extremely special. I cry every time I think about it. That's when I was like "OMG this is really happening. Everything I ever dreamed of is finally coming to life."

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
The decor theme I was going for the wedding was greens, whites, and blush pinks. The decorators absolutely nailed my vision. For the reception, I've always dreamt of a classy one with black and white with a touch of green in the mix. The stage backdrop for the reception was so well done, so HUGE props to Exclusive Events for making my vision come to life.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Enjoy every second of it. Don't focus on the little things that may have gone wrong, because then your day will be ruined. I didn't pay attention to any of the teeny tiny details because my wedding planners were amazing and took care of literally everything. I enjoyed every moment from beginning to en,d and it truly was the most magical day ever.

From first look tears to endless dancing, this wedding was unforgettable in every beautiful way.
