How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Ankush and I met on a dating show called “Desi Me Dating” back in June of 2022. We were the first date of season two, and instantly we connected. We started dating that same summer, and since then, he’s been by my side for everything, and he’s been my rock through my cancer treatment.
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Ankush proposed to me on October 15, 2023, in Central Park at the Alice in Wonderland statue. I’ve always loved fairytales and magic, and I would go to Central Park with my whole family growing up, so it was extra special.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The best part of planning the wedding was being with my husband-to-be, picking out all our favorite things, and learning how similar we truly are.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The moment Ankush and I joined together at the Mandap, it truly felt like every romantic scene from a fairy tale was coming true. I realized in that moment that this was the feeling I’d been dreaming about my whole life, and the man standing at the end of the aisle waiting for me was really my best friend.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Remember that you and your partner are on the same team always. It’s you two against the world, so be patient with each other.

My husband and I have a unique story where our very first date is caught on camera, literally the first time we laid eyes on each other is there for the world to see. One day, we can’t wait to show our children how we met. This inspired us to keep documenting our life and our love, because looking back on our memories is such a gift. I began documenting my cancer journey to share with the world, and it’s only demonstrated more of how much my husband and I truly love each other. My husband is my rock, my range,l and my whole heart. I’m so happy I can share our story with the world.
