It's the end of today's fabulous Indian fusion wedding feature, and Tracie Domino Events saved the best for last, with a superbly planned reception! Held at the iconic Loews Don CeSar Hotel, the venue was filled with magnificent floral decorations by Suhaag Garden. We thought that the addition of succulents throughout the decor was especially charming! The wedding cake from The Cake Zone also featured flowers, and the menus by A&P Designs were done in art deco style to tie in with the venue! Every moment of the reception was exciting, and with Dudha Productions as DJ, the night was filled with dancing! Kimberly Photography perfectly captured the highlights from the event -- see it all in the full gallery!
Maharani Amy on how her family helped make her wedding special:
"My mother-in-law was absolutely amazing! She had custom outfits made for the ceremony for our bridal parties and my family! She also picked out my and the bridesmaids' jewelry and did a fabulous job! She had lovely clutch purses and gorgeous scarves made for all the girls. My friends were not used to getting so many gifts and were thrilled!
I have an identical twin sister who helped me through every single decision. There is no one's opinion I value more than hers and it really helped me stay very relaxed and calm and able to enjoy the process having her by my side and listening to me daily, talking about whatever task we were taking on! She also housed all of our Indian outfits and wedding details in her house! I live in LA and we were married in Florida and she graciously allowed us to take over a larger portion of her house!"
Final thoughts from the Maharani:
"The bracelet / rings, broach on my skirt and belly chain belt that I wore were the same my mother-in-law wore on her wedding day! It was really special.
Our ceremony and reception took place in a beautiful award-winning historic hotel with extensive history dating back from the 1920s! F. Scott Fitzgerald and Al Capone frequented the hotel in the '20s. Our reception had art deco touches to go with the stunning architecture of the hotel. It was an absolute dream come true to get married in such an iconic hotel in my hometown area! We had guests coming from all around the world and everyone was able to make a nice holiday out of the weekend!"
See you tomorrow for a wonderful Indian wedding!
