Our dashing duo tops off their Indian fusion affair with a rustic reception inside the cozy Spruce Barn at the Full Moon Resort in New York! To add to the country vintage vibe of the venue, our creative couple had each table decorated with doilies, frayed burlap served as chargers, and lace was attached to the votives! Now, these are some awesome ideas, and every detail looks superb! Petronella Photography catches up with our handsome newlyweds as they cut a rug on the dance floor with family and friends. Our Maharani has got some moves, even in a floor-length Lotus Bridal gown! Impulse Sounds kept the party going strong, mixing up the hottest beats and playing musical homage to both the Hindu bride and Jewish groom's cultures! Looks like a blast was had by all, and I just love their grand exit complete with a sparkler send-off! Follow me to the gallery to see every detail of this sensational soiree, from start to finish! Oh, and I almost forgot, keep your eyes peeled for Nirmala and Ian's fantastic wedding highlight reel, courtesy of Mae B Films, coming soon!
From the bride, on a very special moment:
"We were hoisted on the chairs by our family members during the Hora and Ian was waving the napkin for me to grab. His face was beaming with happiness, I felt a different kind of connection to him, he was sharing a part of him, his culture. There was an outpour of love from him and his family during that moment. My family was so excited and joined in, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The true meeting of our families."
On the first dance:
"We danced to Caroline Pennell's version of, "As Long As You Love Me." The words were perfect, we always agreed, as long as we have love, everything else will fall into place."
Enjoy the rest of your day, ladies!
