Maharani Amisha and groom Rahul strove to create a very traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. So let's see...a lively baraat procession? Check. Red, gold, and white details? Check. Elegant white horse? Got it! With the help of Loon Meadow Farm, our regal Raja makes way to his lovely bride on a beautifully decorated white steed. I just love the groom's triumphant smile, and the luscious green backdrop of tall trees that welcome this merry parade! Even though the photos from KSD Wedding Photojournalists show a relaxed and put-together affair, this was all thrown together last minute!
Word from our bride Amisha is that six weeks before the wedding, their original venue informed them they were accidentally double-booked with a high school junior prom -- YOWZA. In a last minute rush, the couple's family called 80 reception halls and finally found an open spot at Simsbury's The Riverview.
