One of the very, very best things about being a Modern Maharani is that you have the liberty to take bits and pieces from other state cultures and blend them into your own.  One of my favorite parts of my wedding ensemble was my kalira, and even though I am a Rajasthani Maharani, there was no way I was going down the aisle without them!  So, when I downloaded the images for this New York City Indian wedding by SY Photography, I was mesmerized by our Maharani's gold kalira.  Full, long, and dazzling, I just couldn't imagine these pictures without them!

There is so much beauty in today's wedding, we have six posts today!  Back in a bit!
