Goood morning Maharanis! Let's go ahead and start this crisp October morning with the fabulous pre-wedding ceremonies of this Orlando Indian wedding - the Pithi and the Sangeet. As most of you probably know, the pithi is a cleansing ceremony that both the bride and groom take part in to soften and whiten the skin, so that when the big day finally arrives, their skin is absolutely glowing! With the help of some pasty turmeric powder and a few very eager friends and family, our Maharani Kavita is thoroughly covered from head to toe in this yellow-y paste, making her a fun sight to see! And on a side note, aren’t those kaliras absolutely beautiful!?
Kat Braman Photography did a phenomenal job capturing some very exciting moments of the sangeet just for us to enjoy.  The Falafel Moroccan Restaurant & Lounge in Orlando, set the part fusion-y part theme-y stage, and this dancing addict has to admit that I loovvee the photo of the couple in their choreographed dance together. Not only are they in sync (all you dancers know how important that is), but they’re having an absolute blast, too! Hint: that's not the last of their dancing either!
