So, I am here to declare that absolutely anyone on any budget can have a Maharani Wedding. All it takes is a dash of style, a bit of creativity, and knowing where to really strrrrretch your budget. Even though my head gets filled with ideas, with the thought of an unlimited budget for décor, I am going to let you all in on a trick of the trade. The easiest way to glam up your reception without spending oodles on florals is by investing in lighting. This reception proves that color fills the room, and turns the swank factor all the way up!
From Wendy Dahl of Chic Productions :
Sanjay and Dipika were such a fun couple to work with! We planned their Southern California wedding while they were living in Northern California. They wanted a fun and meaningful celebration that reflected their unique style incorporating some traditional South Asian elements with some Western trends. We used the traditional colors at the ceremony and created a plum, silver and white reception. Inspired by Sanjay's love for music, he created music CDs as favors with an English version and a Hindi version. Dipika was also a talented dancer, with a dance performance accompanied by her twin sister for all of the guest's enjoyment. What a wonderful evening for such a fabulous couple!
Okay that's a wrap Maharanis! We will see you all tomorrow!
