If there is one word, and only one word I would use to describe this Indian wedding, it would definitely be.....HAPPY.  I know, I know, it seems like an understatement because all weddings are happy, but this one just seems to be filled with enchanting amounts of happiness.  There wasn't a photograph in the stack where this gorgeous couple didn't have a megawatt smile shining from ear to ear.  You know what I mean, it's the kind of happy that comes from within, when everything in the world just seems to be perfect.

From our Maharani, Sejal :

My hubby and I really wanted to maintain the cultural aspects of the wedding, so we followed all the customs, while incorporating our personalities in our outfits and the decor. Although I love modern color combinations, I always dreamed that I would be surrounded by red/maroon and gold on my wedding day, so I followed my heart and chose traditional colors but opted for contemporary fabric and crystals for the decor. I am a total girly girl who loves clothes and makeup and weddings, so I took advantage of this one opportunity to be pampered with intricate mehndi going up to my elbow and wearing as many jewels as I wanted while getting away with it. We even went to India to shop for all the outfits and accessories....which was no easy feat! I always wanted to wear a traditional panetar (white with red border) saree, but every time I tried one on, I just didn't feel like myself. I ended up following my mom's recommendation to wear a panetar lengha outfit for the wedding, which was great because I still had the traditional colors, but I still felt young and true to my own style. After finding my outfits, we had my hubby's outfits custom made to match the colors and embroidery work from my outfits. The whole process was so much fun I kept wishing I could make a career out of wedding shopping!

From the music to the decor and the priceless moments shared with family and friends, my hubby and I really did have our dream wedding! We were extremely pleased with how amazing all our venders were and the whole event was a beautiful beginning to the rest of our life together.

Big thanks to our Bollywood Maharani, Sejal, for sharing her gorgeous day with us!
