Welcome to Maharani Weddings

There are a few stand out 2010 weddings that I can't seem to get off my mind.  The combination of the beautiful flowers, creative details, and wedding themes that come to life really make these weddings stand out from the crowd.  So, who won the Best of Maharani Floral & Decor awards for 2010?  We are thrilled with our winners, and we know you will be too!

Heffernan Morgan created one of THE most gorgeous reception’s I have ever laid eyes on. The royal blue with the silvery white creates a whimsical atmosphere that just screams romance. Absolutely everything for this wedding was matched and designed to help the couple bring their vision of Van Gogh’s Starry Night to life.  Make sure you take a good look at this custom dance floor, it might be a while before we see something quite as special again.

And how can we forget this chic and adorable party for a newborn Mini Maharani! This party would make an incredible Mehndi, insane Sangeet, or an off the charts bridal shower.  I have no idea how you design & execute this type of detailed event with a new baby, unless you are truly obsessed with your job.

Our last award, coming right up!

We are ready to announce the last winner of our Best of Maharani, Floral & Decor, and it was a very tough decision.  We had many, many, many beautiful entries this year, but it was one elegant, understated fusion Indian wedding that really took our breath away.  Sachi Sood, the owner of Partyland Flowers & Event Décor, simply nailed it with this reception. I just love this sharp, elegant black & lime green palette.  It sets a formal tone that is fun and anything but stuffy.

I know, I know, I posted SO many pictures of that little elephant.  I just think it is SO super cute!
