I always say that your indian wedding style should be classic and not set by the latest trend.  However, some of the dated looks may make you feel like you are wearing a costume, as opposed to your most fabulous self.  When it comes to bridal chuni's you may want a more current look.
Here is an example of a beautiful, traditional, indian bride. Notice her chuni sits right on the front of her hairline.

The more modern indian bride choses to wear her chuni further back on her head.  This is called the veil-style chuni.  What is nice about this light weight style is that you can choose to wear your hair up or down.
Have a piece made out of net fabric embroidered to match the work on your lenga or sari. Either way you choose, you will look smashing on your big day!
