As our Maharani, Shaila is getting ready the morning of the wedding, she is simply stunning with an elegant make-up look with metallic rose colored shadows along with her chic updo by glamour expert Ruby! Shaila is exquisite in her all white bridal lengha as she is ready to marry her Raja, Hanif. Captured by FengLong Photography, this duo heads to their intimate nikkah ceremony where the two blissfully become husband and wife. The love between the newlyweds is vivid when they walk into their stunning walima, as this stylish duo is set to celebrate and dance the night away after their reception portraits. Maharani Shaila dons a red, gold and emerald green reception lengha while Raja Hanif is dashing in a black tuxedo. The ravishing couple danced with all their attendees with music by DJ Jaz- GTB Productions and you can see more of this enjoyable wedding reception in the full gallery.
The bride on planning the wedding:
"All of my friends and family, especially those that came from out of state and out of country, was the highlight of planning my wedding. Cake testing with Hanif was also fun! Planning my bridesmaids outfits also turned out to be a really exciting process, especially when I had a vision of what I wanted to see my closest friends wearing on my big day!"
On her hair and makeup:
"I worked with Ruby from start to finish for my hair and make up. I did not have any particular styles in mind and just kind of let her do what she thought looked best. She was great!"
On the special details:
"Yes, definitely! My friends danced and made speeches, helped me coordinate the smallest details, threw me an amazing bridal shower, totally kept me sane during every event of every day, made fun signs for the photo shoot on the pithi day, made me an incredible scrapbook to take with me since I was moving, and SO much more!"
On her vendors:
"Crowne Plaza Ravinia was a wonderful and convenient venue! I highly recommend it! I also did a surprise groom's cake of my husband's favorite football team, and he absolutely loved it!"
Until the next wedding my loves, I'll catch you later Maharanis!
