Minal loves Omi, Part II
If you missed us yesterday, we are showcasing our very first celebrity wedding this week on Maharani Weddings. Our groom stars in the Bollywood blockbuster, The Three Idiots, and he chose one of our Platinum Guide members to capture his big day. (Can we pick ‘em or what?!) Minal and Omi’s wedding day took place at the Palmdale Estate in Fremont, CA which is a fabulous place to get married in the Bay Area, because not only do they have a lovely outdoor space, but they even specialize in South Asian weddings.
From Vijay at Wedding Documentary : When I am photographing a couple, the "experience" is very important to me. I want my subjects, relaxed, feeling comfortable, and having a good time. I believe only then will they reveal their true personalities and their inner beauty. What I love about my clients is that they put their complete trust and faith in me and I can make them look and feel better than they ever have while being photographed.
I mix contemporary and modern portraiture, with traditional styles to create a well rounded photographic collection that allows my clients to have a variety of images with different looks and feelings.
Usually, I ask the photographers to pick out their favorite shot of the day, but this time I just fell so in love with one frame, I didn’t even ask Vijay his choice! This is one wedding image that I know ALL brides will want replicated on their special day.
Isn’t it sweet?! Makes me want to get gussied up and take one just like it for my office!
So, I am really excited to share what we are up to at MW this month. I am off to India tomorrow to research the latest and greatest in wedding trends!
