Today’s cinematic masterpiece is brought to you by Paul Ortiz Films, and here at Maharani Weddings it is not often we are blown away with not only the location of a luxury Indian event but the uniqueness in crafting such a perfect union. Car enthusiasts and fashionistas alike, this is one tour de force, you don’t want to miss! Maharani Ruhi’s wedding celebrations started off with a traditional mehndi ceremony in her private residence in Northern California. I especially loved the nonchalant game of chess partaking in the background as Ruhi spent endless hours lounging in her chaise during the mehndi application. The following day guests trickled into the Sherwood Country Club where the bride and groom had a traditional outdoor Indian ceremony surrounded by lush green hills with sweeping views of the Santa Monica Mountains. The bride wore an elegant light pink and silver lengha with matching short choli. The entire look was sealed by a hot pink dupatta that intertwined the perfect contrast for these two hues. The reception party is what truly blew us away. We have yet to seen such a venue that splices elegant, unique and classy all at the same time and the Blackhawk Automotive Museum most certainly set the tone. Surrounded by antique cars loaded with the fully luxury package, guests were able to enjoy a cocktail as they explored the vast museum of automotive history. The spacious quarters where the party was to take place was equally impressive and with splashes of silver beads cascading through the urbane aerial views of the venue has us awestruck. The bride switched up from a lengha to a debonair red and black sari for full party mode. The night was full of dancing, entertainment and charismatic charm that was filmed with excellent precision by Paul Ortiz Films. Hit play to watch this stellar film and we absolutely cannot wait until the still images from Matei Horvath lands on our editorial desks!

We love weddings from sunny California and this beachside wedding local to Maharani Weddings in San Francisco captured by VA Photography is most certainly a fan fave. Have a great weekend and see you all Monday, dolls!
