Dallas, TX Indian Wedding by Lomesh Photography

The razzle dazzle at Ankita and Mihir’s Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Lewisville reception was a sight to behold! The ballroom was completely transformed from the ceremony set up to an art deco dream, replete with light installations that would fit in at a modern art museum. We are seriously so impressed with the design concepts apparent throughout these celebrations. Ambiance plays a huge role in creating a joyful wedding atmosphere, and Weddings by Farah hit it out of the ballpark with her imaginative concepts for all the wedding events. Ankita donned a flowing, golden lehenga and was most definitely the belle of the ball in her sparkly gown. A drool worthy cake provided some lovely eye candy, but there were even more treats around the corner where Ankita and Mihir set up a tantalizing dessert station that would satiate even the most snooty sweet tooth. G2 Entertainment rocked the turntables with the latest and greatest Bollywood beats, and kept all the guests grooving on the dance floor. We guarantee you’ll love the full gallery by Lomesh Photography, so hurry and take a gander at all the fun!

Dallas, TX Indian Wedding by Lomesh Photography

Our hearts are exploding with love as we peruse the Indian wedding ceremony of Ankita and Mihir captured by Lomesh Photography. Weddings by Farah transformed the ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Lewisville from a mysterious, jewel toned sangeet to an ethereal treat straight out of a fairy tale! The mandap was festooned with layers of chiffon, and hues of champagne, pink, and gold twinkled throughout the space. We are always blown away by Weddings by Farah's amazing talent in the decor department. While Maharani Ankita readied herself for her walk down the aisle, Raja Mihir was busy taking over the Texas streets with his banging baraat! G2 Entertainment brought the beats for the guests to boogie to their heart’s delight. The ceremony was filled with laughter and happy tears, and the newlyweds exited the proceedings in a shower of rose petals. Befitting the lux weekend, an Aston Martin whisked the newlyweds off into the sunset. So glam! Maharanis, for more lavish photos, peruse the full gallery.

Dallas, TX Indian Wedding by Lomesh Photography

Texas weddings make our hearts skip a beat in excitement, since everything is certainly bigger in the Lone Star State. Ankita and Mihir’s celebrations were captured beautifully by Lomesh Patel Photography, and we want to soak in every magical moment! The multi day celebration was a treat for the senses, with each event having a unique aesthetic. Kudos to the incredible artists at Weddings by Farah for pulling out all the floral and decor stops to jazz up the celebrations. While perusing the photos of Ankita and Mihir’s sangeet, we felt like we stepped underwater into an opulent treasure chest. Rich jewel colors and glittering ornaments were bursting from every corner. So pretty! A dance party to music by G2 Entertainment soon began, and guests swirled to the beats in these beautiful photos. Such an amazing way to kick off the celebrations of these lovebirds. Virginia Beach, VA Indian Wedding by Hugo Juarez Photography

We are so impressed with the talented artistry of Imperial Decor and absolutely loved sharing the memories of Kamaljit and Meet’s grand bash! The ballroom at the Westin Virginia Beach Town Center was in for a real treat with the hands of Imperial Decor ensuring that the spacious quarters was bathed in pure luxury. Overflowing bows of bouquets were placed on each table with a sweetheart stage lit up in special LED lighting by DJ Manan Entertainment taking command of the room. The bride donned traditional colors and went for an ultra sassy wedding lengha with a unique twist - the reception outfit was made in Delhi from the same designers that made her mother's outfit back in 1984! Guests danced the night away after eating a delectable Indian meal catered specially by Nawab and the dance floor was never empty thanks to the talented crew of Jay Dabhi Entertainment. After you view the gallery captured by Hugo Juarez Photography who also captured all the live action, head on down below for our chat with bride Kamaljit as she relives her special day.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

The first thing we booked was our venue and from there it was a breeze! My father and husband dealt with all the contracts while I met with all the vendors to make sure they were the one! Ashley Loffredo from the Westin in Town Center was amazing! She bent over backwards for us and really made sure everything was organized to our liking. I can't thank her enough, without her I don't think our wedding would have been so perfect!

Imperial Décor did such an awesome job, they took my vision and gave me much more! When I first met Saba Kamran, I was so excited because she understood what I wanted and worked around our budget versus other vendors. I told her that I wanted my décor to be classy and elegant with lots of candles and bling. I got that and more! Saba and her team completely blew me away! Just a small example of them going above and beyond: The company they ordered my flowers from informed Saba that they didn't have enough of the roses that I wanted two days before the reception. Saba found a company in California and had the roses flown out to the venue.

My Makeup artist, Sapna Desai, was awesome! She was just such a sweet person to be around and I felt so comfortable with her. She listened to what I was looking for. Each event had a different look and it was so classy and natural! When I saw myself after getting all dolled up I was in tears! She really amazed me!

Our Dj's rocked the floor both Sangeet and Reception night! Sangeet night we had DJ Manan Entertainment, his company also did all the lighting in the event spaces! Him and his team were so great! For the reception, Our DJ Jay Dabhi and his MC were flown in from New York City. He definitely got our crowd going and kept them all on the dance floor! There wasn't one minute where our guests actually sat down!

To capture our most memorable moments, we had Hugo Juarez and his team who went above and beyond from the day of our proposal to the end of our reception night!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

The only advice I have is to plan ahead and try to have everything done a month before the wedding so you can really spend some time with your family! The wedding day goes by really fast so just try to soak it all in!

Same time, say place tomorrow Maharanis!

Virginia Beach, VA Indian Wedding by Hugo Juarez Photography

Grab your maid of honor and your notebook as we explore Maharani Kamaljit’s  well thought out chain of events planned and designed by Events by Truly Yours. But first we have to mention Meet’s amazing proposal with a flash mob in the middle of Times Square! As Kamaljit walked up to her family and friends that consisted of the large group, each family member gave her a rose with "Will you marry me" by Jason Derulo playing in the background. What eventually rose from this stellar night would be the gorgeous wedding celebrating both Kamaljit and Meet’s background. The bride’s ceremony outfit was extra special because not only was it a one of kind designer piece made in Gujrat, after designing the garment herself, the bride realized that the embroidery was the same as her mother's wedding outfit. The Sikh ceremony took place in the Guru Nanak Foundation of Tidewater with the Gujarat ceremony at the Westin Virginia Beach Town Center. Imperial Decor did an outstanding job with ensuring that the venue was bathed in pure luxury and with overflowing bouquets of flowers and romantic candles, we are sure guests were blown away. We have a lot more memories tucked away in our gallery captured by Hugo Juarez Photography, so take a peek and relive these lovely moments celebrating the couple of the hour!
