Indian wedding are notorious for having tons of guests fly in from all corners of the world.  This next idea takes the last Best of Maharani 2010, Indian Wedding ideas award because it gets your guests involved and provides a memorable, stylish keepsake for the bride and groom.  Love that!

When Tejel, of Ambiance by Tejel, worked her magic at Rajshri & Anthony's dynamtie Indian fusion wedding, she noticed that the couple had friends and family fly in from all over the globe. So, on each table card, they placed a small gold pin and asked all the guests to place on the map.  By the end of the evening, all the guests were mingling, the couple had a glittering map, and a keepsake for life.

There are a few stand out 2010 weddings that I can't seem to get off my mind.  The combination of the beautiful flowers, creative details, and wedding themes that come to life really make these weddings stand out from the crowd.  So, who won the Best of Maharani Floral & Decor awards for 2010?  We are thrilled with our winners, and we know you will be too!

Heffernan Morgan created one of THE most gorgeous reception’s I have ever laid eyes on. The royal blue with the silvery white creates a whimsical atmosphere that just screams romance. Absolutely everything for this wedding was matched and designed to help the couple bring their vision of Van Gogh’s Starry Night to life.  Make sure you take a good look at this custom dance floor, it might be a while before we see something quite as special again.

Wedding videos are no longer just videos, and cinematography is the only word we can use to describe the gorgeous creations by our top picks.  Who all made the Maharani Best of Cinematography list?  Well, stay tuned to find out.

Concept wedding films made a HUGE splash in 2010, and this one by AVL Films, was one of my absolute favorites of the year.  AVL Films crafted a script and story revolving around how the couple first met, and then they worked with the couple to bring it to life.  I wish I could have been there to see the buzz, energy, and excitement this concept film created at this couple's reception!

So, you wanna be a movie star on your big day?!  AVL Films will get the cameras rolling!
