As angelic, parasol-shaded bridesmaids descend the stairs leading to the traditional fabric draped mandap by Arlene Floral Designer, the bride prepares in her last moments before the traditional Pakistani wedding ceremony begins. On the veranda of the Tampa Marriott Waterside, the Pakistani bride and groom take part in the traditional Nikkah wedding ceremony. The groom wears a muted, light blue floral sherwani, which ensures the bride’s brighter sari will create a focal point in every image by Kimberly Photography. Floral ornaments hanging from the mandap help to define the wide open venue, to create depth and intimacy in the ceremony design. For more of this easy, breezy ceremony, check out the gallery!

The baraat travels from the Ridgeway Country Club to the Indian Cultural Center and Temple of Memphis, with the groom riding a beautifully outfitted horse. Under the traditional Sikh mandap, this hubby-to-be is joined by his bride, who wears a glittering deep plum lengha. Brian K Crain Lifestyle Wedding Photography catches every detail of the wedding ceremony, including those lush rose jai malas! As the service comes to a close, this Maharani and her Raja exchange wedding bands; her hands look soooo gorgeous with that sparkle next to the mehndi. For more of this delightful first event, check out the entire gallery!

The baraat arrives at The LaLit Resort and Spa as the sun begins to set. As final preparations for the Indian wedding ceremony are made, Memories Photography catches the glittering mandap in the setting sun. When the sun finally slips below the horizon, the traditional Indian ceremonies and customs begin. As drums play, the bride joins her groom, the ocean lapping at the shore behind them. The warm summer air carries the couple through many rituals and blessings, after which they make their way from the gorgeous mandap to the reception hall, but not before another wardrobe change!
