The Maharanis and I sat around HQ and when it came time to vote for our favorite Indian wedding of 2011 as Team MW, we agreed unanimously.  This Indian fusion wedding is filled with glitz and glam by David Tutera, romantic moment caught by Susan Stripling, and an engagement ring that will make every Maharani squeal with delight.  So, be prepared to be blown away once again, because an Indian fusion wedding like this one is even prettier the second time around!

It’s a good thing this ring isn’t mine, I would faint every time I laid eyes on it! Be right back!

There are two things I am always on the fence about : cutting my hair and glitter mehndi.  Every time I see a picture of Victoria Beckham I feel like running to my hairdresser’s chair.  But, when it comes down to it, I never make it there because images of Rupunzel-esque beauties, like these ones by Kate Byars Photography, make me know I am a long hair girl at heart.  The funny thing about glitter mehndi, is I never know if it is truly me or not, but one look at the handiwork of  Bridal Elements, I know that I would adore any of these sophisticated designs.  Maybe at my next Indian wedding function, I’ll try glitter mehndi….unless I cut my hair!

Big thanks to Kate Byars Photography and KIS (cubed) Events for this gorgeous submissions and have a great night Maharanis and we will see you back here tomorrow.

We are having a day full of Indian wedding inspiration, and kinda like an online version of a spaaahhh day! With photographs by Kate Byars Photography and styling and design by KIS (cubed) Events, it has to be one of the prettiest days we have had in a while.  If our last peacock look was a little too trendy for you, this classic, rani pink number may be more of your thing.

More Indian wedding ideas on the way.  Back in a flash!

One of my favorite parts of meeting with an Indian bride-to-be is listening to all her ideas on her various parties, and most importantly the LOOK she is going for at each event.  So, with the peacock theme a bit overdone these days, it was refreshing to see this stylish modern spin on the classic.   Her colorful blue and green lengha by Ladlee Creations, and matching jewelry capture the essence of the theme, but I am going bananas over the way Bridal Elements by Nirjary Desai  weaved the baby peacock feathers into her hair. Paired with that glossy, magenta lippy, and my heart almost stopped!

I would love to know Maharanis, would you rock this look to one of your wedding events?  More coming up!

In my quest for Indian wedding inspiration, I am totally fired up to share today’s Georgia photo shoot by KIS (cubed) Events and Kate Byars Photography. It is filled with to die for lenghas by Ladlee Creations and fabulous décor by Event Rentals Unlimited & Tents UnlimitedWeddings in Style by Ragini Patel, and Occasions by Shangrila. Starting off with this sultry pink and red number the double skirt lengha and long necklace might just be the best idea I have heard of all week. So take a seat and get cozy Maharanis, and be prepared to be blown away!

Much more glitz and glam on the way!
