Whippany, NJ Indian Wedding by Damion Edwards Photography

When Maharani Devi began planning her big day, it was her parents that came out on top. “From the big picture to the very minute little details, my parents not only helped but really took the lead for a lot of it. Nish and I are really fortunate to have a pair of parents that are so supportive and excited for all of our lives' big moments!” With endless pins on Pinterest and working alongside Elegant Affairs Inc., a timeless fairytale hatched that we are certain guests are still talking about. KC Makeup by Karun Chani ensured that the bride glowed from head to foot while donning a flowing, glittery anarkali that was a mixture of modern sophistication and Bollywood flair. The ballroom at the Hanover Marriott was transformed into a luxurious oasis by Elegant Affairs Inc. with a glowing sweetheart stage that was festooned with white and golds adorned with rustic charm. Sukhadia Caterers provided the full package to the couple and indulged guests with a savory Indian cuisine. After dinner, the dance floor became packed with the gyrating beats of DJ Raj USA on the turntables. This ballroom affair was captured elegantly by Damion Edwards Photography & Cinematography with all the images in our gallery.

Weddings adorned by the hands of Elegant Affairs Inc. always deserve that extra round of applause. Each venue this talented floral and decor team touches always leaves us breathless and inspired. Devi’s outdoor Indian wedding at the Hanover Marriott was certainly yet another stunning affair. The bride and groom took advantage of the weather and exchanged their vows under a cornucopia of flowers and pastel drapery that served as their mandap. We can’t think of a more serene location at the moment to get married in and the Hanover Marriott was the most idealistic venue for this couple. This Indian wedding unfolded just as the bride expected it to with wedding planner Event Nirvana ensuring a perfect streamline of events behind the scenes. Join me in this perfect gallery by Damion Edwards Photography & Cinematography and get lost in all the charm yourself.

Every now and then when an Indian wedding event by the talented staff of Elegant Affairs Inc. lands on our desk, our inner bride screams with glee. After all, we are in the wedding business and glossing over wedding lenghas, kundan jewelry and gorgeous mandaps are all in a day’s work! Devi and Nishant’s love tale is brimming with all sorts of amor and when the bride gushed out all the details; our hearts were overflowing with joy. The lovely couple met a party in Boston and were set up by their friends. After Devi’s first date with Nishant, well here we are unveiling all the details of their lavish wedding! Not to miss a single moment of her event, the bride brought on elite photographer Damion Edwards Photography & Cinematography to help capture her big day which began with a serious glam session with Karuna Chani of KC Makeup by Karun Chani. The natural bridal ensemble would have to be an exclusive Sabyasachi that boasted the most luxurious designs and was beyond flattering on our bride. Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!

We had been dating for almost four years at this point.  Nish had told me that his work was having Spring Gala event on Friday March 4th.  Being a medical student busy in rotations, I jumped at the opportunity to get all dressed up!  We met by the Boston Commons to head over to the event together and as we walked through the park, it began to snow!  It was beautiful.  I then realized that the path and the gazebo were all lit up beautifully with candles.  Before I could process any of it, Nish was down on one knee asking me to marry him.  Obviously I said "Yes, of course!"

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

There were so many!  I remember hanging out with my bridesmaids before I walked up to the mandap and thinking of how I never wanted the moments to end.  I remember hearing Nish's vows and just feeling like the luckiest person in the world.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.

We wanted our sangeet to be fun, whimsical, and energetic.  We wanted bright colors, fun performances, and lots of dancing.  For the ceremony, I wanted it to feel like we were in an ethereal spring garden with lots of blush tones and pretty pinks.  The reception was all cherry blossoms everywhere and it felt like a fairytale!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

Try not to let all of the family drama get to you during the planning process.  Weddings can be really stressful, but remember that when it's over the marriage is what really matters- and if you're lucky you'll have that forever.

The reception, which we have coming up soon, highlights delectable cuisine from Sukhadia Caterers. See your right back!

Charlotte, NC Indian Wedding by Javon Longieliere Photography

We explored Maharani Christina’s mehndi night and her wedding ceremony, now it is time to head into the explosive reception party back at the Founders Hall. Christina walked out of her beauty chambers dripping in pure luxury with a flowing turquoise anarkali and curly locks. Makeup by Megha gave the bride the full royal treatment and it shows! Pair this awe-inspiring ensemble with the henna art of Beauty You Deserve, and you get one stunning bride! Virtual Sounds glitzed out the Founders Hall. For her series of events, Christina brought on Utopian Events and Geri Sims Weddings and Events to help glam out her venues. As evident in these stunning flicks by Javon Longieliere Photography, the spacious quarters were decked out with pure royalty in mind. I love how the splash of colors within the venue just resonates perfectly with my screen. Screenshot these venue ideas to impress your audience, dolls! As we all know, music is what makes the party! DJ Sunny Bola of R5Vibe rocked out the venue and kept guests on the dance floor all night. Kathy Grate of Divine Occasions has orchestrated a fabulous string of events that you can find in our gorgeous gallery.

Charlotte, NC Indian Wedding by Javon Longieliere Photography

We love all the details of Christina and Viral’s well planned wedding event by Kathy Grate of Divine Occasions and needed to take a back to admire the work Beauty You Deserve. Christina’s arms and legs are adorned with such creativity precision! The bride donned a gorgeous pink wedding lengha with splashes of varying colors scattered throughout her outfit. The outfit was complete with a pair of Badgley Mischka‘s that were to die for. Christina’s lovely ladies were adorned with bridesmaid's saris from Hemazing Boutique. Viral’s baraat ceremony showed up loud and proud to the venue! The groom was gallantly perched upon a magical carriage from Southern Breeze Carriages.  The ceremony took place inside the Founders Hall and was dressed up with a paisley inspired decor in mind. Crystal boughs of floral lined the pathway leading to a stage that had a nature esque vibe. My favorite decor item had to be the chiavari chairs draped with sheer netting and gold designs! We have a lot more photos hanging out in the gallery captured by Javon Longieliere Photography.
