Good morning, my loves! Maharani Geeta is sunshine sweet as she gets ready for her big day! I'm absolutely loving her glittering makeup look and opulent jewelry! As she makes her bridal entrance, Stylish Events and Distinctive Floral Design create an elegant ambiance for this auspicious occasion. Our bride rocks a lemon yellow sari and then knocks it out of the park with a red bridal lengha that she rocks in these awesome shots by MaxPhoto NY. There were just so many pics to choose from (including this cute bridal pose) that I couldn't decide what to pick, so meet me at the gallery to see every bit of glam!
Wait until you see this bride's baby pink wedding gown!
The celebrations have begun and our sensational bride and groom are hitting the dance floor in style! Elegant Affairs Inc. ensures that every glammed-out and gorgeous detail of the decor is top-tier perfection while KSD Weddings captures each bit of beauty on film. From the custom menus to the glowing tablescapes to the magnificent centerpieces, this reception is absolutely, jaw-droppingly, unforgettably fabulous! I can't resist heading back to the gallery!
From the bride, on her reception style:
"For the reception lengha, I had a bit of a vision given that I work with textiles all day at my company Source4Style—www.source4style.com. I knew that I wanted something with inspiring textures, which is what was behind the metallic sequined top and the tulle skirt. I have also worked with amazing artisans in India so I also wanted there to be an element of craft and hand-embroidery to the lengha—which we did both at the waist and also on the tail."
On their first dance:
"Frankie Valli's 'Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You.' It's just one of our favorite tunes, and we both learned that we each loved it on a rainy winter day when we spontaneously went to see Jersey Boys on Broadway."
On a special moment:
"Probably the most special part was when both of Nimesh's bands played at our reception—particularly when his band No Evidence of Disease played our favorite song 'This Day' to our father-daughter dance. (This Day is the background music if you visit our wedding website www.benitaandnimesh.com, which is still live)."
Too fabulous! See you tomorrow, my lovelies!
Bring on the gorgeous! Set in a grand mansion, this reception is completely glamorous, and I love every touch! Before the party gets going we're heading behind the scenes to glimpse a sneak peek of the cake, the centerpieces, and all the super spectacular decor. What a treat! As our sweethearts cozy up for some adorable portraits with KSD Weddings, I can't help but admire all the breathtaking details by Elegant Affairs Inc.. Those flowers are lush, plush, and super luxe! I can't wait for the dancing to begin, so before it does I've to browse through the beauty in the gallery one more time!
From the bride, on friends and family helping out:
"We were both working up until the day before our wedding—we barely made it to City Hall in time! So we couldn't have gotten married without our family or friends. My best friend Brooke gifted us a ketubah—a hand-painted Jewish wedding contract. Nimesh's friends and bandmates made for an amazing baraat filled with drums and percussion that was just so magical to hear from upstairs in the bridal suite. We were very blessed to have been surrounded by such joyous support from all our family and friends."
On her makeup:
"My friend Lisa Rinaldi is great—I count on her for whenever I have any appearance or photoshoot."
On her bridal lengha:
"From the moment my mom suggested it, I knew I wanted to wear her wedding sharara."
On planning the event:
"Both Nimesh and I, along with our families, have a great love for music. Nimesh is a musician in two bands. My grandfather is also an accomplished musician. So yes, for us, one of the most special parts was planning and experiencing the music."
See you at the reception, dolls!
