The bride on her groom:

"I really enjoyed that Beeran wanted to have such an active role in planning the wedding. That way, it was the dream wedding for both of us!"

On planning her big day:

"We couldn't have had our dream wedding without our amazing vendors! It was a pleasure to work with such creative, professional, and down right fabulous people. They all were able to take our vision, and turn it into our dream wedding. The hardest part about planning was the long distance. The wedding was in Philadelphia. I was in Fort Worth, Texas. Beeran was in Denver, and his parents were in Chicago. My parents were the only ones nearby!"

Well, ladies, I do hope you loved today's couple as much I did and can't wait for you to see what else we have in store for you. Don't be a stranger!

Alright, ladies. It's time for our bride to get into her amazing reception outfit and pose for a few portraits with Damion Edwards Photography. How amazing is this first shot of the newly married couple behind the glass storefront? Our Maharani's to-die-for light coral-colored post-ceremony party lengha is a total fashion dream and she is a knockout in it- not to overlook the groom who is equally impressive in his finely tailored tux. Now that her hair is down, she's definitely ready to get the party started and show off her amazing outfit change. I've added a brief glimpse into the reception at the tail end of this post just to give you a hint at what's to come. You will want to see it, trust me. For now, view the gallery for even more stunning portraits of this attractive couple.

The bride on her hair & makeup:

"It was so great to work with Sushmita for my hair and makeup! She gave me a traditional Rajastani/Mughal look to match my Sabya lengha for the wedding, and a more modern, natural look for the reception. I didn't even have to tell her what I wanted, she just knew! I felt so comfortable with all my looks."

The party is about to start so make sure you find your way back before you miss it!

What's pretty and pink and glamorous all around? This bride's mandap, that's what! Our gorgeous gal and her handsome groom are as perfect as can be, so of course, they need a mandap to match! These amazing shots by Damion Edwards Photography illustrate just how beautiful the setting for their ceremony is. From the sweet-as-can-be floral arrangements lining the aisles to the sparkle of the hanging tea lights and the glitter of the curtains, this ceremony is definitely one for the books! Not to stray from the couples fabulously luxurious tastes, it's only fitting they exit the ceremony with just as much style as it started with. Check out the gallery for more amazing coverage from this grand event that is not to be missed, including the baraat and more dazzling wedding portraits!

The bride on her wedding style:

"I initially wanted a "traditional" wedding look, and a modern, unique reception. The colors for the reception were actually my husband and our designer, Vikram's idea. We decided to carry some of that peach color into the wedding. Although the decor for the wedding ended up being modern, it ended up being a lovely juxtaposition to our traditional outfits."

Be right back with an exclusive look at the bride's reception dress, so don't forget to check in again!

The bride on her groom's proposal:

"Beeran proposed while we were vacationing in Asia. It was our last night in Hong Kong, and he proposed to me after dinner, at a restaurant overlooking Hong Kong Island. It was a complete surprise! After we called our friends and family, we got to celebrate at the Ozone Bar in our hotel, which is the highest sky bar in the world!"

On choosing her lengha:

"Beeran's family, my family, Beeran, and I went to Mumbai together to go wedding shopping. We all fell in love with my Sabyasachi lengha the second I tried it on. Nothing else looked good after that! When we went back to purchase my lengha, we were told that Sabyasachi would be in the next day, so perhaps he could help coordinate Beeran's outfit with mine (Beeran hadn't liked anything he had tried on so far). The next day, Sabyasachi helped us choose the material for Beeran's outfit, the sari to hand-tie Beeran's safa/turban, and at the last minute, he picked out a blue shawl to tie the outfit together! We were so lucky to have his help."

Stick around for the ceremony, gals. It's coming up next!
