Cinnaminson, NJ Indian Wedding by KSD Weddings

Raja Pavan has just set sights on his bride-to-be as the two lovebirds posed for some of the most romantic first look portraits with KSD Weddings. The groom looks speechless as he takes in his beautiful fiancé, who has been picture perfectly made-up by Flawless Beauty by Pauline. Her hair and makeup are impeccably done, and her wedding lengha is absolutely sensational. The soon-to-be newlyweds also meet up with their wedding party, who are decked out in the most sensational fashion choices. The bridesmaids look incredible in their bright coral and blue lengha saris and the groomsmen are as handsome as can be in champagne-colored ensembles. These shiny, happy people are now heading to the ceremony space at The Merion, where Maharani Roshni and the Raja of her dreams will tie the knot at an unforgettable main event. For now, visit the gallery for a look at more shots from this portrait session!

The bride, on how her Raja romantically popped the question:

"It was getting towards the tale-end of our stay in Chicago. We had both matched into residencies back on the east coast and were reminiscing on the amazing four years we had spent together.
Pavan knew that graduation was coming up and that all our friends and family would be coming for it. Pavan invited all of our friends and close family from Chicago, my sister Sonal and brother-in-law Sirju, his brother Nilay, and his cousin, Malvi.
He booked a nice dinner at a popular gastronomy restaurant called Moto in Chicago, and convinced me that it was a graduation dinner. We had an amazing experience! After dinner he took me out to Water Tower and pretended to randomly find a horse-and-carriage ride for a trip around downtown Chicago. The ride stopped near Lake Michigan for a photo-op (was planned between Pavan and the driver all along). They both got off and while I was admiring the great views of the city, Pavan got down on one knee and popped the question. I said yes, and we were engaged!"

The most anticipated event of the day is coming up next, so don't miss out!

Cinnaminson, NJ Indian Wedding by KSD Weddings

Happy August, friends! We're so excited to kick this month off right with an awe-inspiring Indian wedding event beautifully captured by KSD Weddings! First, meet today's Indian bride, Roshni, as she gets ready for her big day with the help of expert hair and makeup artist Flawless Beauty by Pauline. Her dramatic lashes and brilliant, red lips are what Maharani dreams are made of, and her half up/half down do is perfection. The red, cream and white bridal lengha she's chosen is stunning, and each and every piece of jewelry decorating her body — holy samosas, I love her tikka! — is simply magnificent. Maharani Roshni's mehndi is on fleek, and that close-up pic of it with her bangles is probably my fave of this bunch. She's about to reveal her wedding day look to her Raja, Pavan, at The Merion, where they will be saying their I do's, but before we get into all the romantic details from their first look, head into the gallery for even more portraits of the bride!

The bride, on how she met her Raja:

"It was the summer of 2008, and my husband, Pavan, had just moved from downtown Chicago to the small town of North Chicago where he was going to start his first year of medical school. I had just moved to North Chicago all the way from NY to start podiatry school and was nervous to spend the next four years so far from home. We first met each other during orientation and started to get to know one another. After just a few minutes of talking we realized how much in common we have.

Over the next few months we spent countless hours studying together in the library and hanging out with friends in Chicago. Before they knew it, it was November and Pavan asked me out. The rest is history!"

See the groom's reaction, and get to know the wedding party, next!

Austin, TX Indian Wedding by Studio Nine Photography + Cinema

Studio Nine Photography + Cinema brings us our final wedding film of the month, and it's a dazzling delight to behold. From a detailed look at the breathtaking mehndi work, and other unforgettable pre-wedding moments, to the heart-felt words spoken by the bride's father during his reception toast, this cinematic gem will surely sweep you off your feet! This incredible event took place at the JW Marriott Austin this spring, and you'll get an exclusive look at the extraordinary Indian wedding ceremony, sensational portrait session moments and highlights from the post-ceremony celebration. We fell in love with Maharani Aarthi, who donned the most brilliantly sparkling bridal lengha for her ceremony and switched gears for the reception with a vibrant, purple and magenta number — her makeup flawlessly complementing her head-to-toe style.  Her bridal party rocked some seriously fab, cobalt blue saris and her new hubby was dashingly handsome from start to finish.
