Seattle, WA Fusion Indian Wedding by Alante Photography

We love a great Indian party! Especially one that involves amazing light up, drapery, good old fashion fund and fine cuisine. We end Maharani Sonia and Kiran’s love story with a reception party at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. The morning of the event consisted of a serious glam session with Salon Maison. Sonia opted for a pink and gold lengha with the perfect selection of jewelry. The venue was outfitted with specialized lighting from Crimson Haze who used state of the art wireless technology throughout the ballroom. The illumination also included lighting up the floral backdrop designed by Rented Elegance & Design and bathing the room in a romantic and sultry glow. The wedding cake was based in house by the pastry chefs and was a concoction delight with shades of red pink and dusts of midas gold. My personal favorite? The personalized cake topper cutout that included their delightful pup! The couple opted out of favors and donated to the Seattle Humane Society be still my heart. Bogle Productions captured all the live action, which we hope to view soon! This couple is truly beautiful inside and out and their evergreen memories have been cherished forever in the gallery captured by Alante Photography.

We hope you enjoyed this amazing trifecta celebration and we have lots in store for you lovebirds tomorrow!

The Indian culture is steeped with culture and traditions and it is no surprise that when you hail from two different Indian backgrounds, celebrating both is a must. After all, what bride wouldn’t want two gorgeous weddings? For their Sikh wedding, it was only natural that Kiran bring his bustling baraat complete with a horse from Country Wagon Carriages to the Vedic Cultural Center. One of my favorite captures from Alante Photography is the bride actually getting to witness her new beau’s entrance. Sikh Priest Dr. Freedom Singh and Leela performed the auspicious ceremony. The bride was a natural stunner and changed outfits for her second ceremony. The second reveal was a more elaborate bridal lengha outfitted with heavy embroidery stone work and zardosi stones. I am sucker for a navy blue lengha and this bride executed the look flawlessly. The ceremony was performed under a romantic flower laden mandap designed by Rented Elegance & Design. Here at Maharani Weddings we absolutely love it when we see two different worlds collide! Today we celebrate the joyous union of Maharani Sonia and her beau Kiran for a multi fusion wedding celebrating two different cultures. Kiran hails from a Southern Indian upbringing intermixed with some British charm and Sonia’s family hails from a Northern Indian background. For their special day, the couple knew that their celebration should consist of two different ceremonies honoring both families. On the morning of her South Asian affair, Sonia got dolled up by Salon Maison. The bride opted for the complete South Asian bride package that included a large headpiece, flower braid and a silk gold and white sari. The bride and groom held an intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends. You might have noticed that Kiran had a perfectly tied turban and that is because My Turban Swag came to the rescue to make sure that this groom was hooked up. This fusion wedding was planned by Weddings with Wendy who ensured that all the different events flowed together seamlessly. When Angelin and William decided to make their union forever, it was only a matter of time before the wedding planning would come at lightning speed! Angelin had a vision - and her vision was big! A vision this big requires a lot more time and planning and Melissa Marie Events was on board to spearhead the very important task of fusion wedding planning. It is no surprise that every single guest was blown away with every detail of the reception held at the Lovett Hall following the wedding ceremony. Guests were ushered into the first floor of the luxurious venue at The Henry Ford Museum for cocktails and the hypnotic tunes of a jazz band. The bride and groom made their grand entrance shortly after to the sweeping sounds of E3 Detroit. All the gorgeous floral that you see in these images were plucked by Bellisario Florist. We need to take a moment of silence for the most colossal wedding cake we have seen to date! Baked to perfection by Sweet Dreams Bakery, this designer concoction just blew guests away! Each layer of this cake was designed with lux and glam in mind. We can’t wait for Epic Motion to release the cinematic experience to Maharani Weddings so we can share them with you all! The night ended with guests packed on the dance floor as they enjoyed location Michigan favorites Guernsey Ice Cream, Sander's hot fudge, and Faygo floats! Dearborn, MI Fusion Indian Wedding by Flourish Photography

We return to Maharani and Angelin’s wedding celebration with a western ceremony taking place at the auspicious First Congregational Church of Detroit. The bride got ready with the beauty team Borrowed and Blue Weddings who added the right amount of pop to make this natural beauty glow. During her search for the perfect white dress, the bride located the perfect bridal wear for her ceremony. Angelin’s custom designed piece was an eye-catching, appliqued lace, short sleeved dress with a dramatic tiered train. Angelin’s bridesmaids were all color coordinated in matching red and gold saris with embroidered silk blouses. The special touch of sequins scattered around the garment added a charming touch. One of the most treasured memories of the day was the first look and William couldn’t keep his eyes off his future bride! Guests were equally captivated by the bride as she walked down the aisle of the First Congregational Church of Detroit on the arms of her father. With ornate architectural designs, grand ornamentation and symbolism, this venue was the most culture rich room to exchange vows in. Melissa Marie Events executed a series of unforgettable events with modern sophistication and we are swooning over the images in the gallery captured by Flourish Photography!
