New Orleans, LA Indian Wedding by Amanda Weir Photography

Morning Maharanis! We’re pumped to share the ultra mod and stylin’ wedding of Mahitha and Pavan today. These two had a jam packed itinerary of fun-filled events, beginning with their joyous Sangeet at the Audubon Tea Room. Take one look at these photos by Amanda Weir Photography and you can see energy bursting from every snap. What a fun group! We can’t wait to watch all the live action footage captured by Dyle Films. And in our opinion, one of the very best parts of a wedding are all the outfits. We adore watching Maharanis get all dolled up! Mahitha was adorned in multiple dazzling outfits and was sparkled up by the talented artists from Flawless Bride. Mahitha filled us in on the unorthodox way she chose all her lovely looks: “Being in my first year of residency, it was really hard to find time to go to India to go shopping for my wedding clothes. So my parents went to India instead of me. My mom went to numerous stores in Hyderabad, India; however, no-one would let her take pictures. So I would wake up at 5AM to my mom Facetiming me from stores. The quality of our Facetime was so awful so in the end I picked my outfits via blurry images of on Facetime and with the help of my mom’s and grandma’s good taste. It worked out really well. I loved all my outfits!” The Storybook Event used their planning mastery and pulled off a series of events fit for a Maharani, while Rao Factor festooned the venues in the ultimate in lux decor. While you wait for our ceremony and reception coverage, you can enjoy all the still images brimming in the full gallery by Amanda Weir Photography.

Sugar Land, Texas Indian Wedding by Bella Lumi

We love a good love tale and when we heard how Vishal proposed to Bina, we were swept away in pure romance. The couple got engaged on a private ranch called Dos Brisas in Brenham, Texas. It started off as a beautiful hayride for the  two that eventually ended at a lake. Vishal got down on one knee and proposed as the couple’s photographer, Brenda,  of Bella Lumi popped out and everything happened like a true southern girl's fairytale. Sigh. The series of events planned by Rathi Menon Events came full circle at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square where Desi Junction was churning out all the latest beats. The bride slipped into a stunning champagne anarkali that was perfect for a night of dancing. Decor One dazzled the venue and kept the theme for an enchanted garden and guests couldn’t stop raving about the decor! We have tucked away the moments of love in our gallery, and believe us, this is one gallery by Bella Lumi you want to be locked in!

Sugar Land, Texas Indian Wedding by Bella Lumi

Bina and Vishal's magical love story has only begun. After being dolled up by J Tailor Salon, Bina walked down the aisle at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square to an absolutely breathtaking sight. Decor One flooded the ballroom with a garden affair theme and the results are so dang jaw dropping! Classic with a spin of sophistication was the perfect blend for a one of a kind mandap that you must see! The couple's vision for the wedding ceremony was an enchanted garden feel. Greenery flowed through the room and guests noted that there was a smell of fresh florals and romance floating throughout the hall. The furnishings of the mandap was a whimsical wonder with a back drop that gave off a fairytale environment. Desi Junction lit up the venue in the most romantic haze as guests witnessed the union of this ravishing wedding. Bella Lumi has all the Pinterest worthy pics in our gallery.

Sugar Land, Texas Indian Wedding by Bella Lumi

Bina and Vishal met the old fashion way. In college, at a typical frat house party. However, that was it and the couple went their own ways and from that day on never crossed paths again. It wasn't until about 6 YEARS later at a friend’s BBQ that things really started to steam up and here we are; reporting this lovely couple’s wedding! As soon as Vishal popped the question, the gears really started churning with Rathi Menon Events spearheading wedding planning and design. The Pre-ceremony celebrations included a festive garba night. The bride channeled all her mermaid glam in a turquoise and gold floor length anarkali. Decor One began day 1 of wedding decor and the entire room was a haven that paralleled the furnishings of the inside of a genie’s lamp. No doubt Aladdin was a contributing element! The ballroom was lit with the sounds and lighting of a Bollywood affair and we cannot get enough of all these insanely gorgeous images! Naturally only a stellar venue would do and Sugar Land Marriott Town Square was the place to be with Bella Lumi flooding all the love in our full gallery with the upcoming wedding and reception.

Cincinnati, OH Indian Wedding by Michael Bambino & Co.

We return to Cincinnati, Ohio to celebrate the union of Anisha and Ashwin at their reception gala which featured tons of Bollywood flair. For the event at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati, the bride chose the ultimate in sartorial luxury: a minty green lehenga designed by the one and only Sabyasachi. She was an ethereal vision in mint, and we love how this gown gracefully billowed on the dance floor. Alongside Anisha was her handsome husband, who looked dapper as ever in a tailored tux with a sea foam green tie. Once again, A Bride's Mafia and Glendale Florist were there to ensure that all the events transitioned seamlessly and were divinely decorated. Copious blooms of fresh floral blooms and glimmering taper candles adorned every surface of the spacious quarters. DJ Ice & Fresh Productions lit up the dance floor and venue and provided the musical entertainment; both elements played a big factor in creating the romantic ambiance. And we have to mention the incredibly selfless actions of this altruistic couple. Instead of making the celebration all about them, Anisha and Ashwin decided to use their wedding weekend as an opportunity to give back. They told us: We are so fortunate to have the family and friends that we do and we very quickly learned we have enough love and support to last us a lifetime. So, in lieu of receiving gifts or gifting tokens to our guests, we asked our guests to donate to 1 of 2 charities (Ashwin's choice - Pratham or Anisha's choice - the American Heart Association). Furthermore, we had some fun at the Reception and asked guests to place a token into a frame at the back of the room to place their vote for 1 of the 2 charities. The "winner" would receive all the additional gifts and a contribution from us. We raised over $20,000 for charity!! We are bound in humility and enjoy giving back, we hope other brides would be inspired to do similar.” So incredibly inspiring! We’re so glad Michael Bambino & Co. was there to capture all the beautiful still shots that you can find in the full gallery.
