Good morning Maharanis! We are in Oheka Castle, a mansion in Long Island, to soak in Doorba and Alok’s exotic fusion wedding. Our first impression: Doorba and Alok’s first look shoot is a wedding editorial in its own right! Boy does Maloman Studios have a way of indulging viewers with impeccable photographs and refined visual storytelling skills! Oheka Castle is one gem of a venue, especially for first looks and portraits. The lush outdoors and the magnificent indoors created a perfect canvas for Unique Vision Studio to do their magic via film. Doorba opted for a stunning ornate red sari that featured Bandhni prints. Patricia Longo kept her makeup super chic and minimal by adding hints of metallic and blush undertones. We loved how La Voila Concierge left Doorba’s hair down in loose curls with a middle parting, because it worked wonderfully with the statement matha patti. Alok, in his turn, chose to coordinate in an off-white bandhgala teamed with a spiffy sequined vest. You can tell that Maloman Studios and Unique Vision Studio invested a ton of time and energy scouting for the best locations. Doorba and Alok’s red ensembles popped amidst the colors of nature, and it was simply stunning. You have to see it to believe it, so head to the gallery for a visual feast! We loved this wedding so much we had to feature it in our 2016 Unforgettable List Magazine!
We can’t wait to share all about the ceremony with you, which was minimalistic chic at its finest. Come back to the blog to join the Doorba-Alok nuptial joy!
