Hey dolls! Today, we are off to Dearborn, Michigan for a romantic Indian wedding, courtesy of Ravin Bhandari Photography & Imprint Cinema. Jaya & Vivek met in college at Saint Louis University about a decade before their wedding. Jaya says, "We became best friends, and somewhere along the way our friendship blossomed into mutual love." Who wouldn't want to marry their best friend, right girls?! Let's kick things off with the pre-wedding celebrations - the mehndi & sangeet parties! Maharani Jaya looks beautiful in her turquoise & gold ensemble as she shows off her intricate mehndi design. She tops that off with a gorgeous pink & gold lengha for her sangeet bash. She looks like a goddess as she performs on the dance floor. There is so much more to come from this magical day of which The Event Planner Inc planned & designed! For now, see more of the pre-wedding partying in the gallery!

From the bride, on hair & makeup:

"I knew that i wanted to have my hair down and more casual for the mehndi and in different elegant up dos for the sangeet and reception. I looked at hundreds of pictures on Pinterest and in bridal magazines. I picked 2 or 3 that I liked. One had a dramatic side part and front swoop for the reception. I showed these to our hair stylist, Raquelle at Todd's Room in Birmingham, Mi. She practiced the hair styles, we made a few modifications, and volla! Jesse, our makeup artist from Todd's room, is truly amazing with his colors and pallets. I showed him pictures of my outfits, and  he knew exactly which colors, style, and dramatic flair to add for each event. He was so precise with every brush stroke. He even touched up the boys' eyes so they looked even more handsome in the pictures!"

Stay tuned for the bride getting ready for her big day!
