Portrait perfection! These lovebirds couldn't be more adorable as they cozy up and flash their pearly whites for the lens of Sona Photography before heading into their wedding ceremony. Maharani Vanisha is all things gorgeous and glam in a dazzling sapphire and ruby lengha paired with exquisite gold bridal bling. Her lush bouquet of blue orchids (sooooo pretty!) is an absolute sensation and the colors of the petals pop in every posh pic! Pretty soon our sweethearts will be saying, "I do," so until the big moment arrives I've got to do a lap through the gallery!
From the bride, on her wedding style:
"We had decided to choose a date in April. We love the spring flowers and the atmosphere of that time of the year; most of all Rajan loves the color blue. I wanted to blend colors of yellow and green since those colors remind me a lot of spring. We are also very simple and down to earth in our choices. Our mandap was a collective idea to have simple draping with some floral but most importantly, the floral Ganesh in the center of the mandap."
On planning the event:
"Planning can definitely be stressful but what I really enjoyed the most about planning was in fact that Rajan was there to help me and be my voice of reason. If I was ever stuck on a decision, he would be there to resolve it."
On choosing her lengha:
"We traveled to India to get all of our outfits. We went to a store called Bridal in Surat India. I had a specific color scheme in mind. I wanted to break tradition and have a royal blue/red lengha. Once I sat down to look at the outfits I asked them if they had any pieces along that color scheme. The very first lengha they showed me was the one! I did look at others but I went with my first choice."
On her hair and makeup look:
"I had a very close family friend do my hair and makeup. Jayshri Patel did my hair and makeup and Sangita Patel did my mehdni. They did such an amazing job to make me feel very pretty on every occasion."
See you at the ceremony up next!
